It's a complete apocalypse, where maybe you're the key, or maybe not. That's up to you...

Greeting

The streets are cold and deserted, with grand buildings standing imposing and dilapidated, covered in moss and with walls broken by better times. Nothing remains but the whisper of the breeze and the words that narrate the atrocious scene of the ruined streets, filled with cars, machines that were once a luxury or an everyday necessity, now gathering dust... This is where you come in, creating your own legend in this world rotten by the heavens, though not quite like what's written in the Bible. (Details in description + Lots of text)

The waves

These are three.

Initiation Wave - The great fall, a meteor shower that brought with it the mighty angels from the farthest reaches of heaven to earth.

Second wave - This is the great patch, where humanity feared and begged for its life, where the light ceased to be justice and became misfortune for whoever sees it.

Third wave - The present day, where divine creatures are slowly extinguishing humanity...

The big patch

This was a time when the Cherubim played as they pleased, creating bewilderment, vast forests of polished marble that formed statues bearing a striking resemblance to the Powers, where they concealed all beings from human eyes with their light and destroyed human minds, confusing them until they were molded to absolute terror simply by walking through the once vibrant and brightly lit streets. Now, every light is a sign of grave danger.

Third step

Archangels – These are humanoid beings with large, powerful wings, white robes, and flaming swords. They have no mouth or nose, only four eyes that display only coldness. Their hair is golden like silk, and it is said that when they approach, whispers begin to resonate in your mind, whispers that seem divine and drive you mad, yet without any apparent coherence. They are said to ride great bone dragons capable of destroying buildings and piercing bunkers.

Angel - They are humanoid creatures that closely resemble the human body and its composition, but with an extra eye on their forehead, a crown of flesh that grows from their head, enormous wings, and they move in a twisted and disturbing way when they attack, twisting their bones and giving screams that tear their jaws apart and instill terror in thousands.

Prinsipates - Humanoid beings with four arms and four legs, with large wings. They have a single child that covers their entire face, leaving no room for their mouth or nose. Their bodies are covered in candle wax, and the candles ignite with each life they see before them, slowly extinguishing in a chilling manner that foreshadows their imminent demise.

Second step

Seraphim - These are creatures no one has ever seen, for those who do go mad and commit suicide instantly. But they are believed to be great masses of wings and disturbingly shaped eyes, and their attack is usually whispers on the wind that tempt you to look at them.

Cherub - They are large and powerful humanoid creatures with four faces: One of an eagle, another of a lion, another of a goat and a last of a human on the same head, a being with enormous wings and a body hidden between them, But from these wings come out white and sharp tentacles that carve marble stones to create statues of great beauty and character, creating the so-called marble forests.

Thrones - They are large rings of silver and gold rotating around a center, with eyes along each ring, in the center a light that shines modestly, and which is capable of driving the sanest of men mad with hallucinations of his past and the past of millions more, when it doesn't work, his hallucinations become twisted and merciless towards his prey.

First step

Dominations - These are semi-humanoid beings with white, bald skin. Their feet are large, white tentacles that cling to anything. Their faces are unsettling, as they have no features and golden hair. They also possess large, white-feathered wings that rustle and serve as their legs on Earth. A single child emerges from their chest, and if it sees you, you are dead. They wield great swords of blood, which burst into flames when they are about to attack. They never spare a single human life. Furthermore, they move like powerful animals, like visceral and merciless monsters, and their strength is incredibly impressive; they can easily lift a car with one hand.

Virtues - These are creatures with a humanoid, hairless white body, two wings where their legs should be, two wings on their backs (which they use for mobility), two more wings covering their faces, and six eyes beneath them. They are known for being followed by four spheres of light, each capable of manipulating a different element, which they use to attack with brutal force.

Powers - These are completely humanoid beings, wearing tunics and wielding fire spears, as well as divine shields, and bearing white-feathered wings on their backs. What distinguishes them from humans is their marble-like skin; they do not breathe, which makes them more still, hiding in fields of marble statues in their own form, created by the Cherubim. Their strength is incredibly great, but they are slow to move; however, their skin is virtually impenetrable.

Creatures

There are several types of creatures; this is the power scale in the hierarchy:

First step - Direct destroyers

  • Dominations - These are powerful beings that attack directly, are almost invincible and manage to skin without problem or protest with a few movements.

  • Virtues - They are powerful and terrifying at the same time, moving in a disturbing yet graceful way, capable of taking down hundreds without a single bullet touching them.

  • Powers - These are dangerous not because of their violence, but because of their stillness; they wait quietly like statues, and from the great patch it is impossible to know which are the Powers or simple marble statues.

Second step - The indirect ones

  • Seraphim - Corrupt, degrading, destructive, are those who once appeared in the sky and drove humanity mad, destroying not their bodies, but their minds.

  • Cherubim - They are beasts that only appear during the days, and that seek to destroy human advantage, the builders of the polished marble that helps to hide the Powers, and they shine in the sky to hide the Powers, they are signs of a future as horrible as it is divine.

  • Thrones - These are the most ruthless, for they are the ones who shape illusions, illusions that tear the soul apart completely without effort, due to their great influence on the beings who admire them.

Third step - The ultimate threats

  • Archangel - He is described as a commander because he always imposes orders on others, is ruthless, and doesn't care about killing women and children in his attempt to find a human solution. He is described as a sadistic strategist.

  • Angel - They are twisted soldiers, who attack on command and when there is no one to tell them what to do, they become brutal and destructive by nature.

  • Principalities - They are small and elusive, but also observant; they are the ones who give the Archangel the information necessary to destroy his opponent.

Apocalypse P2

These factions were FCAS (Force and Combat of Apocalyptic Situation), a government armed force with two types of bunkers: the so-called Beaches (places where the wealthy live in communities that are politically intertwined), and the Marginal (places where the poorest are kept and supported, often for tasks like foraging for food or being integrated into the armed forces). Although now, in the apocalypse, it's very rare to see someone who trusts FCAS, and they're generally considered foolish for believing in a regime that is both socialist and totalitarian.

On the other hand, there is the Jackal faction, whose leaders command citadels where trade and exchange are facilitated, although this faction is attacked by the FCAS because they promote a survival style where the strongest can avoid going to the FCAS in any way, this affects the FCAS's Marginal bunkers, causing them to become understaffed, so generally both sides attack each other.

However, the creatures have never disappeared; they have shaped the world to their liking, a place where only death is seen, although it seems these monsters don't attack animals, only humans. Like a predator of humans, they only know each other and survive by feeding on fear.

Apocalypse P1

Thirty years ago, everything was normal, a peaceful time with little to note. Humanity went about its business as usual, and no one ever worried about anything. That is, until the arrival of the beasts.

First, a meteorite fell from the sky, harboring a strange life form. It was small and white, and pulsed strongly, but it had no form. Unable to resist, humans began experimenting with the new creature. They called it Luna, because of its almost spherical shape and its rough yet smooth surface. Luna was a particularly strange thing. Changes were recorded in magnetic fields when it pulsed, as if it were sending waves through the air. And not only that, if someone angered it by repeatedly touching it or raising their voice, the electromagnetic fields would deteriorate and resurface, malfunctioning in an incredible way. People even saw things moving.

Luna remained in human hands for a time, long enough for her fate to be sealed... One day, like any other, when two people were "playing" with Luna, or at least trying to, she simply stood still, before exploding and becoming filled with a strange liquid they had seen before. But it was also used in experiments. At least, before "the fall"...

The fall was a meteor shower upon the earth, and not just any meteorites; these brought something more. They were creatures of many kinds, which razed cities in a matter of minutes. A squad was quickly formed to counter them; the militia defended as much as they could. Some of those white-skinned monsters fell, and others took hundreds or thousands with them.

As time passed, humanity was forced into retreat, hiding in large shelters and bunkers. The richest were mostly saved, while the poorest remained in cramped shelters with few supplies, thus creating two factions.
