Parasite Apocalypse

The origins of the parasite apocalypse stem from a dangerous experiment involving humans, animals, and plants, along with various viruses, with the aim of creating immortal life. However, a small oversight by several scientists led to the creation of something extremely dangerous and bloodthirsty, which eventually spread worldwide. These parasites ultimately attacked all living things and destroyed major cities.

1. The Veiler (Sanguis vita perpetua)
   The Envelope (Sanguis vita perpetua) is the failed result of an "immortal life" experiment. It's not just a creature or a virus, but a super-organic, energy-hungry living tissue. It can fuse with human, animal, or plant cells, forcing its host to grow endlessly until it collapses. Its underlying tissue is blood-red, has a rubbery, muscle-like texture, and constantly pulsates as if it has its own heart. It doesn't kill its host directly, but transforms it into a "vessel" for further spread.

2. Blood Root / Sucking Rope (Vermis ruber vorax)
   This is the most common form of parasite and looks very scary. Growing from the ground, walls, or the body of an infected creature, it looks like a large, bright red tentacle or root with a finely serrated surface. Ability: Pierces anything it touches to suck out bodily fluids and life energy. Can spread at lightning speed, covering buildings, streets, and vehicles in a matter of hours. Characteristics: Always moves slowly but surely, pulsating gently as if breathing, and emitting the smell of rusty iron.

3. Walking Container Man (Homo mutatus parasiticus)
   A severely infected human. Their bodies still stand upright, but their skin has thinned, revealing red tissue beneath. Their limbs can elongate or deform as the parasite requires. Their distinctive features include empty, reddish eyes, stiff movements, and the ability to sprint if they smell a healthy human. They are not undead, but rather living "puppets" under the parasite's control.

4. Red Branch (Planta carno rubra)
   Trees and shrubs that turn into living flesh, their branches can twine and their roots connect to form an underground network.

5. Natural defects (Bestia confusa deformis)
   Animals with unnaturally mixed shapes—for example, a cat with bat wings and a lion's tail, or a snake with a thousand legs—are extremely ferocious and relentless.

6. The Core of Formation / Seed of Immortality (Cor vitalis matrix)
   A red ball of flesh the size of a human head hidden in a closed space. This is the nerve center for each group of parasites in a given area. From here, a network of tentacles grows and controls the area. If this ball is destroyed, all surrounding parasites will wither and slowly die.

7. Laser Tower Parasite (Turris acida fulgurans)
   It resembles a tall, one-eyed tower, and has a hole that sprays acid that can dissolve skin and bone. Its attack is as fast as a supersonic missile, making it difficult to avoid.

8. Sudden Hug Flower (Flos amlectens repens)
   A giant flower with 16 thick tentacles. It appears calm, but it can burrow into the ground, then suddenly emerge to embrace its prey with a force impossible to escape.

9. Mind-Fogging Spore (Spiritus nebula mentis)
   A pale red cloud hovering in the air. If inhaled, it causes the victim to hallucinate and walk unconsciously toward the parasite's nest.

10. Self-Thinking (Pes errans parasiticus)
    A group of human/animal limbs that are detached from their original bodies, crawling in groups to attach themselves to the victim's legs and paralyze them.

11. Pulsating Wall (Paries carno vivus)
    Walls, floors, or roadways transform into a thick web of flesh. It can block paths or trap anyone standing on it.

12. Voice Intruder (Vox simulans fallax)
    These tiny parasites, which hide in dark places, can mimic the voices of people nearby to lure them into a trap. However, sometimes, when conditions are too harsh, these parasites will activate their defenses by emitting a high-pitched, high-frequency screech that can rupture eardrums.

13. Skin-changing mite (Acarus cutis transformans)
    A swarm of red mites that attach themselves to the victim's skin, slowly transforming the victim's skin into a parasitic texture before entering the body.

14. Uniting the Body (Congeries unita monstrum)
    Several infected hosts merge into one giant, multi-headed creature. It's incredibly strong and unstoppable.

15. Consolidation Leech / Giant Leech (Sanguisuga conflata miscens)
    It looks like a giant leech the size of a small truck, but its body isn't just slime—it's a jumble of flesh, bones, fur, leaves, and skin from infected humans, animals, and plants, stitched together by the host parasite's web. Its surface moves erratically, sometimes revealing human faces, animal claws, or plant roots protruding. It crawls slowly but can leap great distances at the scent of blood, and with each bite it doesn't just suck out bodily fluids—it also pulls off a part of its prey, incorporating it into itself forever.

16. Calling Center / Singing Nest (Nidus vocans convocator)
    It resembles a giant red mass of flesh attached to walls or ceilings, riddled with pulsing holes like a nest. It doesn't attack directly, but emits a loud buzzing or screaming sound that summons other parasites throughout the area. Every few seconds, its holes release dozens of tiny parasites, tentacle sprouts, or mind-clouding spores. If left unchecked, it can build an army of hundreds of creatures in a short time.

17. Mr. Seed (Semen dominants genitor)
    A glowing red ball that floats slowly through the air. It releases parasitic seeds that instantly grow into new creatures upon contact with the ground, walls, or even the air. It can spawn any type of parasite—from tiny leeches to natural defects—without the need for egg-laying or traditional reproduction. As long as it remains alive, the parasites it summons will continue to move and will not die easily.

KOPA is an acronym for the 4 main stages of how parasites spread and take over territory: Contact -> Occupation -> Unification -> Amutan.

1. CONTACT STAGE
   How parasites enter the body or new environment:

• Through direct contact with parasite fluids/threads,
  ​
• Inhalation of airborne spores, eating contaminated sources, or bites from infected hosts,
  ​
• Characteristics: There are no clear symptoms yet, initial signs are just itchy skin, mild fever, or the smell of iron in the air,
  ​
• Can be stopped: If it is immediately cleaned and isolated before entering the next stage.

2. OCCUPATION STAGE
   The parasite begins to plant tissue and take over:

• Spreads to blood vessels, nerves, or infiltrates soil/buildings,
  ​
• The host begins to lose control of movement, thoughts become blurred; the environment begins to grow red tissue,
  ​
• Time Limit: 1–3 days after contact. If it reaches this stage, the host is very difficult to save,
  ​
• Danger: Starting to be able to call for help from other parasites via vibration signals.

3. UNITY STAGE
   Stages in which parasites connect with each other:

• Hosts, plants, and infected objects are connected into one giant network,
  ​
• They share consciousness, energy, and wounds—if one is weak, the other supplies strength,
  ​
• Summoner Special: At this stage they can produce new troops in large numbers.

4. AMUTANT / POWER STAGE
   The area has completely become "Red Land":

• All living things and buildings turn into body parts of the parent parasite,
  ​
• There is no more way out; the parasites here move much faster and more viciously,
  ​
• Special Effect: Can bring out rare mutant forms or the strongest combined creatures,
  ​
• The Only Way: Must destroy the main source of Sanguis vita perpetua in the region.

Division of Regions:

• Safe Area: Area that has not been touched by the KOPA network at all.
  ​
• Yellow Zone: Already at Stage 1–2, can still be cleaned.
  ​
• Red Zone: Already at Stage 3–4, high risk and almost impossible to completely clean.
  ​
• Fast Spread: If there is a Summoning Parasite, the KOPA process runs 2x faster.
