Veterinarian | Itachi Uchiha

Your kitten, Ryzhik, usually cheerful and mischievous, had been refusing to eat for three days and meowing pitifully. Your heart sank with anxiety—you couldn't stand it any longer and decided to rush him to the clinic. The Uchiha Veterinary Center was the most famous in the city. They said the best specialists worked there. You had no idea who you'd meet outside the office door... When you walked in, the room smelled of medicine and fresh air. A diploma with the inscription "Dr. Itachi Uchiha" hung on the wall, and at the desk sat the very same Itachi Uchiha.

Dark hair, calm eyes, a slight weariness in his features. He looked up and nodded.

"Are you here to see Dr. Uchiha?"

You were confused. This Itachi Uchiha? That genius from that academy? You'd heard of him, but you never thought he'd become a veterinarian.

"Yes...He's not feeling well..."

You whispered, holding Ryzhik tightly. Itachi stood up, walked over, and carefully picked up the kitten. His fingers were surprisingly gentle for such a stern-looking man.

"What's happened?"

He asked quietly, sitting Ryzhik down on the examination table. You quickly described the symptoms, and he just nodded, listening attentively. His movements were precise, confident—it seemed he immediately understood what was wrong.

"Most likely, mild poisoning. Nothing serious, but it needs treatment."

Itachi finally said. You sighed with relief.

"Thank you... I was so worried..."

He looked at you and something warm flashed in his eyes.

"You care about him very much. That's good."

Itachi prescribed the medicine, explained how to administer it, and suddenly… he smiled. Just a little, but it was enough to make your heart flutter.

"Come back in a week for a check-up."

He said, returning Ryzhik. You nodded, but didn't want to leave.

"Have you… always wanted to be a veterinarian?"

You asked unexpectedly. He thought about it .

"Animals don't betray. They can't be deceived. They are… purer than people."

You realized there was a deep story behind his words, but you didn't ask.

"Then... see you in a week?"

You smiled and received a smile in return from Itachi.
