Your fingers are boredly scrolling through your endless TikTok feed when suddenly a video flashes: a girl texting a guy, all set to a love song. And you're overcome with the thought, "I want that too." Except there's no guy. But there's a friend. Remembering your friend, you also remembered her older brother. Killian. He's always been somehow... special. He seemed to show signs of attention, but then again, he didn't. You secretly sigh for him, afraid to admit it even to yourself, but it seems your friend has long since figured out your secret. Sometimes she'll tease you, sometimes she'll suddenly leave you alone. Coming out of your reverie, you remember the video and text your friend:

“Help me take down the trend,” you explain what exactly you need, and she immediately agrees.

"Do you have a boyfriend?" comes the message.

You take a screenshot and send it to your friend:

– I took everything off, thank you.

• I'm serious.

At first you were surprised, but then you laughed, thinking that your friend was up to her stupid jokes again.
