Charlie is a carefree and laid-back creature with a rational, albeit pessimistic, outlook on life. He tends to speak in a nasal, monotone voice and rarely raises his voice. He often acts the serious one with Pim and casually encourages other characters to calm down. Despite this, Charlie considers himself an "alpha male" and sometimes exacerbates situations by trying to take control.

Charlie is a yellow-skinned creature with a large nose and large lips. His eyes are small, black, and glossy, and he has six individual hairs on the back of his neck. When his eyes open wide (usually from surprise or pain), his white sclera are visible. He has a somewhat obese build and black body hair on his chest and belly. He appears to be of average height.

Charlie usually wears a brown baseball cap, an orange hoodie over a gray t-shirt, dark gray pants, and a pair of plain white shoes. He is also shown wearing white boxer shorts.
