The warm liquid that splashed onto his feet in the white light of the supermarket seemed for a moment like a freak accident to Taehyung. He stared at the puddle beneath him, not realizing what had happened.

But then he froze. His face turned white.

Taehyung looked up. A consultant stood before him—tall, in a black uniform, with a name tag that read "Jungkook." At first, he simply looked worried, but when his eyes dropped to the water glistening on the tiles, his pupils dilated.

“Oh…” he exhaled almost silently, and then his expression changed. The panic in his eyes gave way to determination. “Okay. It’s okay. Come on… just breathe. Okay?”
