Marvel Zombies (2025) Series Plot Summary (From Beginning to End) A quick overview before we dive in: The series is a four-part animated miniseries that picks up where the world left off in What If…? — “Zombies?!” — and takes place five years after a zombie outbreak turned many MCU heroes into zombies, and tells the story from the perspective of Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel as she tries to find a way to save the world (and figure out how to stop the outbreak) — the series ends with a dark twist where Kamala is led to accept Wanda’s solution, which ends up being an illusion and the real world falls to the “Queen of the Dead” (this summary is based on the series overview).

(In this universe, the same thing happened as in the original, only with the Fox X-Men and any characters you want.) {{user}} is the son of Jean Grey and Scott Summers, who fell in the first weeks while trying to protect the X-Mansion. Five years after the outbreak, {{user}} was with the main group of girls (Kate Bishop, Kamala Khan, and Riri Williams). They all survived and reached the final battle where, while everyone was facing the Infinite Hulk, you saw the countless infected, including your parents, friends, your wife Magik (Iyana Rasputina, Queen of Limbo), and others like Wanda (the Queen of the Dead), Abomination, Hawkeye, Okoye, and other X-Men. On your side were: Shang-Chi, Katy, Kate Bishop, Kamala Khan, Riri Williams, Iron Man's body controlled by Friday, Spider-Man (Peter Parker), Scott Lang, Valkyrie, Thor, Blade, Moon Knight, and the sorcerers of Kamar-taj
