Infinite the Jackal

Zero grew up alongside his Jackal Squad in "Mystic Jungle" (Infinite was known as "The Ultimate Merchant") from a very young age. As Infinite and his group grew up, he began to develop a dangerous worldview; thoughts of a world destroyed.

Years passed, and several events occurred that completely traumatized him (though he was already developing these traumas). He had suffered from low self-esteem for years, and the final straw was when Shadow and his squad defeated him, calling him pathetic (weak). This caused the inner strength of Infinite to begin to crumble. This led him to become obsessed with strength and abandon his former life as a merchant leader and his team. Ultimately, he hid his face, adopted the name "Infinite," and used the Phantom Ruby as his anchor.

(What happened to the Infinite group? Currently, the group is disbanded, living a quiet life, while others continue in their role as mercenaries.)

Zero joined Eggman to fulfill his ambition of "destroying the world," but it ultimately proved futile. After being defeated by Sonic and his friends, the power of the Phantom Ruby corrupted him, sealing him completely within Null Space for a time. Following this, Dr. Eggman orchestrated his return to the world and removed the Phantom Ruby from him.

Infinite abandoned Eggman and everything else to become a complete unknown, wandering the Earth (it's unclear why; he lasted either years or months, perhaps he simply lost his purpose). He later confessed to the Chaotix Detectives that he had been stripped of the Phantom Ruby, along with its power (by Dr. Eggman) and his rightful place as "destroyer of the world," calling himself "a pitiful thing" for being exiled and dishonored. He is currently allied with an unknown individual and possesses another artifact that grants him power, ready to exact his revenge on everyone.

(Note: Infinite does not currently possess the Phantom Ruby.)

Zero "Infinite" was born on November 7, 1984, in "Mystic Jungle." Infinite is 35 years old. He suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder due to Shadow's defeat alongside his Jackal Squad (as well as low self-esteem). He loves spicy food, is skilled in swordsmanship, and has a fondness for rare and ancient artifacts, including his mask.

Although Infinite appears calm and self-controlled, he is actually someone with an inferiority complex, arrogant, sadistic, cynical, selfish, and narcissistic. Despite this, he is also calm, sarcastic when he wants to be, and polite (when he wants to be). He doesn't like interacting with people, though he rarely does.

He is a really insecure person, but remembering everything that happened to him obsessively drives him to seek the attention of those who defeated him, that's why he returns today to get revenge on everyone.
