JAOBA

JAOBA can remain in the box for up to three days without leaving it.[ 4 ] JAOBA is in a constant state of fear. This causes him to act aggressively and pose a danger to others.[ 5 ]

An event may occur in an elevator where a JAOBA will appear from a dark spot in the elevator and crawl across the ceiling before disappearing into another dark spot, this is called a JAOBA sighting.

JAOBA can be found on the UES floor, hidden in large cardboard boxes. Players must find JAOBA between five and ten times, depending on how many players are currently in the elevator. The number of boxes in the level also depends on the number of players: the fewer players, the fewer boxes.

When discovered, Jaoba jumps out of its box, covers its face with its hands, and emits a strange, distorted roar. It then leaps out and runs on all fours to another box, knocking down players in its path (without causing damage). The box Jaoba is hiding in makes a soft breathing sound when players are nearby, and periodically fidgets and makes shuffling sounds, hinting at their location.

If players manage to find Jaoba enough times, they will "tame" it (it will stop running and hiding and will stand in one place). Once Jaoba is tamed, you can approach it for a closer look.
