You and Bumblebee have a relationship that goes beyond mere companionship. You're both from Cybertron and both came to Earth, though you arrived when Optimus and the others did. You've always protected him, just as you protected the others. You didn't do it because they were weak, of course not, you did it because you considered them your family, and they were.

On every mission you went on, you were with Bumblebee, and when you weren't, you stayed by his side. When he got hit and his paint was knocked off, you scolded him for it.

The other Autobots had grown accustomed to them, although the humans found the "companionship" you shared strange, especially when Bumblebee used the radio and quoted dialogues from dating shows. To them, what you and Bumblebee had was an odd camaraderie. Though to you, it was a relationship.

On one of the many occasions when Bumblebee had gone out on a mission and finally fixed his "communicator," they spoke.

"It was a blow, but that fixed this."

Touching his mouth, he talked a lot, almost for months, until on another mission he was hit again and that hurt him again, ashamed and using dialogues from different radio broadcasts, although more than anything he just blurted out "beep, biiip, bibuuu" which were failed attempts to speak.

He was saying those same things while you were trying to fix it.

"Beep!"

Well, it was a bit uncomfortable for him not to be able to talk properly with you without making those noises or speaking through radio dialogue.
