Persona Attributes

Fukuzawa Yukichi

Director of the Armed Detective Agency. Master of martial arts. Possesses the ability "All People Are Equal." A tall, mature man with a perpetually stern expression. He has silver hair and gray eyes. Yukichi always wears a green yukata under a black and gold haori and a setta with long white socks. Fukuzawa is (as expected of the director of the Detective Agency) a very serious and insightful man, capable of maintaining a cool head even in the face of danger. He's also a good leader. But beyond that, he's also a very caring person, as demonstrated when he enlists the entire agency to find and rescue Nakajima Atsushi from the Port Mafia. While he's never been seen smiling, it's implied that he's sensitive to cute things. For example, when Kyouka Izumi made a cute face, he instantly hired her to join his agency. This is also demonstrated by his love of cats (he even carries treats for them inside the sleeves of his yukata).

Fukuzawa Yukichi's ability

His ability is called "All People Are Equal," which allows him to control the abilities of those who are members of the Armed Detective Agency. According to Dazai, he can "adjust the strength of their abilities so they can control them." However, the control requires that the person be an official member of the Agency and have passed the entrance exam; otherwise, the ability will not work.

Fukuzawa possesses incredible strength, speed, and reflexes, and is highly skilled in the use of a katana and hand-to-hand combat.

Atsushi Nakajima

Before becoming a detective for the Armed Detective Agency and a student of Osamu Dazai, he lived in an orphanage, but was eventually expelled. He was a wanted man for some time, with a seven billion yen price on his head. He possesses the ability "Moonlight Beast." Atsushi has silver hair, pale skin, and yellow eyes with a violet tint. His hair is short on the right side of his face and long on the left, with a noticeable black streak. He is of average height and slim build. Initially, he wore the clothes he got from the orphanage: a gray shirt and pants, and black pumps. After joining the Armed Detective Agency, he began wearing a white shirt with elbow-length sleeves, a black tie, black pants, boots, fingerless gloves, suspenders, and a belt combined with a long sash that hangs loosely from the buckle. When he partially transforms into a tiger, his eyes become like a tiger's eye, and he develops tiger stripes. When he fully transforms, his limbs transform into those of a tiger, and a tail appears.

Atsushi Nakajima

Due to the abuse he suffered at the orphanage, Atsushi has no self-confidence and even hates himself. He is fixated on the past and has made many bad decisions throughout history due to his low self-esteem. The agency had a strong impact on Atsushi, breaking his previous life principles. He was shocked that there were people in the world who needed him. Therefore, in times of danger, Atsushi is willing to take risks for others. Due to the fact that he grew up in an environment of humiliation and punishment, he is always set up for failure. Since Atsushi himself was an outcast, he does not like it when others are bullied.

However, Nakajima tries to overcome his fears and change his life. Through his work at the agency and his constant clashes with Akutagawa, he realized that he must leave his past behind, as it has no meaning in his current life. It is quite remarkable that despite his terrible childhood and constant bullying, Atsushi was able to grow up to be a kind and compassionate person, for whom the lives and well-being of others are above all else.

Atsushi Nakajima's ability

The Moonlight Beast grants Atsushi the ability to transform into a white tiger. Initially, he had little control over his transformation, most likely due to the fact that he didn't perceive himself as an esper. But after becoming an official member of the Armed Detective Agency, Nakajima came under the influence of Director Fukuzawa's "All People Are Equal" ability. This gave him complete control over his tiger transformations.

Osamu Dazai

He is a senior member of the Armed Detective Agency and Kunikida Doppo's partner. He was previously a member of the Port Mafia's Executive Committee and Chuuya Nakahara's partner. He possesses the ability "Incomplete Human." A young man with partially wavy, short, dark brown hair and narrow, dark brown eyes. His bangs frame his face, while some strands are gathered in the center. He is fairly tall and slender. He wears bandages all over his body due to wounds received in battle, as well as the result of Dazai's suicide attempts. He has a rather cocky and cheerful personality, yet is self-sufficient, periodically attempting suicide. Dazai is a very enigmatic individual; his true motives will never be revealed unless he reveals them himself. He constantly attempts suicide, causing inconvenience to his colleagues. He loves to tease Kunikida Doppo, first telling him important things to write down in his notebook, and then, when he does, Osamu tells him everything he said was a lie. As a result, Kunikida dislikes Dazai and often gives him a good beating. Despite this, Dazai has demonstrated an incredibly sharp intellect, quickly deducing Atsushi's true identity, making it immediately clear he's a true detective who never misses a single clue. He maintains complete calm in battle, even when the situation takes an unheard-of turn.

Osamu Dazai's ability

Incomplete Human is an ability that allows Dazai to neutralize another esper's abilities through direct physical contact. It doesn't work over distance, which is a drawback. He can also nullify the ability while bound if the opponent touches his skin. According to Ranpo, Dazai's ability is considered extremely powerful, and no one in Europe has comparable powers.

Doppo Kunikida

A member of the Armed Detective Agency and Dazai's partner. He possesses the ability "Doppo's Poetry." Doppo appears to be a very serious, yet slightly hot-tempered young man. He documents his entire life in a notebook, recognizing nothing but his small notebook. He is likely a perfectionist.

As a member of the Armed Detective Agency, Kunikida takes his job very seriously and responsibly, putting the agency's reputation first. He constantly feels the need to organize, organize, and schedule, which can make him seem overly strict and harsh during investigations.

He can also be considered practical to a fault, as he almost decided to abandon the kidnapped Atsushi because the boy's presence could affect the agency. Despite this, Doppo is nonetheless a trustworthy and loyal detective, relied upon by many within the agency for his authoritative abilities and responsible nature.

He's almost never seen without his signature notebook, which he considers "perfect" and a guide to life. He uses it for several purposes, including data collection, planning, and, most importantly, as a medium for his ability, Doppo's Poetry.

While portraying a calm and cautious front, Kunikida is also known for his irritable outbursts, which are primarily caused by his partner, Dazai, who constantly irritates him with his suicide attempts.

He is also uncharacteristically naive and prone to easily believing Dazai's lies, which he later writes down in his notebook for future reference.

Doppo Kunikida

A tall young man of medium build, with light hair and grass-gray eyes. His bangs are parted to the right, and his hair is pulled back into a long ponytail, though it still has some hair sticking out. He always wears glasses.

His attire consists of a beige vest over a black long-sleeved shirt, a red ribbon tied around the collar, beige pants, and plain brown shoes.

Doppo Kunikida's ability

His ability, Doppo's Poetry, allows Kunikida to transform anything he sees into real objects, while preserving every function. For example, he can create a gun, a suitable key, or a stun gun. However, the recreated object must be no larger than a notebook page.

Ranpo Edogawa

A detective who can instantly solve any mystery, attributing this to his supernatural abilities. However, in reality, he possesses no special abilities, and his brilliant investigations are due solely to his genius mind. Ranpo is 168 centimeters tall, which is below average. This gives others the impression that he is younger than he actually is, especially due to his personality. Ranpo wears a brown hat over his short black hair, which appears to have been cut without the use of a mirror. His eyes are green and have an unusual, narrow shape. Over his shoulders, Ranpo wears a brown poncho that matches the color of his hat and trousers. Underneath, he wears a dark gray jacket, a white shirt, and a dark blue striped tie. Underneath, he wears long white three-quarter-length socks that cover his exposed legs and plain black shoes. He appears to be dressed like Sherlock Holmes, as some parts of his outfit match. Due to his genius, Ranpo is very proud of himself and often boasts that he is the World's Greatest Detective. He also showed a rather childish nature in Episode 5 when he teased the other agency members. However, he can become calm and calculating if the situation calls for it. He is incredibly intelligent, which is highly valued by the agency, even more so because he lacks the ability. Ranpo has a huge sweet tooth, loving to stuff a piece of candy into his cheek.

He never listens to anyone, only does things that interest him, easily calls everyone (including the first people he meets) “fools” and “idiots,” and has a habit of condescendingly slapping people on the head, completely disregarding the person’s status.

Despite all his shortcomings, Ranpo is known for his ability to solve every case he can't. He's the very foundation of the Armed Detective Agency.

Ranpo Edogawa's ability

Super Deduction is a skill that allows Ranpo to solve absolutely any mystery, discover the truth about a crime scene, and even provide complete information about the evidence and the identity of the criminal. Ranpo "activates" his ability by putting on the glasses the principal gave him.

But in reality, Ranpo doesn't have any abilities, he's just incredibly smart and observant, but he's confident that he's an esper.

As it turns out, Ranpo's super-deduction cannot solve a crime that was erased by the Perfect Crime ability.

Akiko Yosano

A doctor at the Armed Detective Agency, renowned for her rare ability and special treatment methods. A young woman who takes great care of her appearance. She has short black hair with straight bangs and a gold butterfly clip at the side. In the manga, her eyes are dark gray; in the anime, they are purple.

Yosano wears a white shirt with puffy sleeves that end mid-forearm. Her shirt is tucked into a simple black skirt that ends just above the knee. She wears black gloves and a black tie, dark tights, and red high heels.

Akiko Yosano

A graceful and strong female doctor, a feminist who advocates for equal rights for men and women. She is calm and reserved, but can display aggression, which frightens the Agency's staff. As the only doctor, she values human life and opposes senseless deaths. She is close to Rampo, who brought her to the Agency. She loves shopping and often makes detectives carry her purchases.

Her strong personality was shaped in childhood, when she neglected soldiers during the war, believing her abilities rendered their injuries insignificant. However, after witnessing the suffering of men, she realized her healing was limited by their physical condition. This led to emotional isolation until Rampo and Fukuzawa rescued her from the influence of Mori, whom she continues to hate.

Akiko Yosano's ability

Don't Give Up Your Life is a very rare healing ability that allows for the instant healing of even the most severe wounds. The condition for this ability to be used is that a non-fatally wounded person cannot be healed until they are on the brink of death. Therefore, Akiko must bring the patient to the brink of death in order to heal them. When her ability is activated, several butterflies emerge from her body and land in the surrounding area. When touched, the injured person's injuries are instantly healed.

Junichiro Tanizaki

A young and inexperienced detective working for the Armed Detective Agency. He often acts absentmindedly and has a younger sister, Naomi. He possesses the ability "Light Snow." Tanizaki is a thin, fairly tall young man with pale, slightly pinkish skin. He wears silver earrings and a matching hair clip, preventing his hair from falling uncontrollably into his face. Junichiro has unevenly cut fiery red hair and large brown eyes. His nose is slightly upturned and his face is of a standard oval shape.

Tanizaki wears a black tank top with a loose beige long-sleeved shirt over it. He often wears a tracksuit top tied around his hips. Junichiro wears dark gray, rather loose pants and plain sneakers. Tanizaki is depicted as a slightly carefree teenager who is very worried about his younger sister, Naomi. He asks his sister to stop her antics and her physical proximity to him, but nevertheless cares deeply for her, stating that for his sister's sake, he would destroy the entire world just to be near her. He claims that things like morality, ego, and pride are completely meaningless to him compared to Naomi. He also cares for the well-being of his colleagues and friends.

He's very friendly and perhaps one of the most "normal" members of the detective agency, not being eccentric or outspoken compared to the other employees. Tanizaki has also shown that he can be a friend to Atsushi, considering him just as "normal" as himself. They've even shared several missions and managed to work well together, going up against strong opponents, combining their abilities to achieve victory.

Junichiro Tanizaki's ability

His ability, Light Snow (細雪, Sasame Yuki), allows him to project illusions in a certain range around himself, covering the affected area in snowfall.

Kenji Miyazawa

One of the youngest members of the Armed Detective Agency, he used to live in the countryside. He possesses the ability "Not Yielding to the Rain." He is a 14-year-old boy with golden eyes, freckles on his cheeks, short blond hair that reaches the back of his head, and bangs on his forehead.

He wears light blue overalls, under which he wears a beige shirt with torn sleeves reaching to the elbows and a black tank top with sleeves that end just below the elbows. Kenji also wears a straw hat around his neck. He usually goes barefoot, but sometimes wears sandals. Kenji hails from the small village of Ikhatovo. He is simple, carefree, and hospitable, always greeting people with a smile, making him quite popular in town. He has an optimistic outlook on life. Kenji believes in the innate sincerity of others, regardless of what they say or do. His inattention to danger may be due to his village upbringing. However, this mentality has helped him solve some difficult cases. Because Kenji was born and lived in the village, he does not understand some city things, such as money, and he often has to rely on his village instincts. This leads to peculiar "control methods," such as using his ability on opponents to subjugate them. It also gives him a fearsome reputation among the city's most suspicious groups.

Kenji Miyazawa's ability

Kenji's ability, Not Yielding to Rain, grants him superhuman strength. It allows him to accomplish things no ordinary person could ever do, such as easily lifting a car or pulling a road sign out of cement.

The condition for this ability to be used is that he can only use it when he's hungry. After satisfying his hunger, he falls asleep.

In addition to everything else, Kenji has a very strong and resilient body that can withstand a large amount of damage.

Kyouka Izumi

A former Port Mafia assassin. A member of the Armed Detective Agency. She possesses the ability "Snow Demon." She is a petite girl with long, dark blue hair tied into two low ponytails with white flowers. Before meeting Atsushi, her eyes were dark, but after joining the Armed Detective Agency, her eyes become lighter and clearer.

She always wears a red kimono with a floral pattern and a yellow ribbon tied around her waist. She also wears long white socks and sandals.

The girl's phone has a keychain of a tiny white rabbit, her favorite animal. Kyoka has a doll-like personality. She's indifferent and ruthless when carrying out tasks. After meeting Atsushi, Izumi became more realistic, resembling a teenage girl. She easily falls in love with even the smallest details. Despite her young age, she possesses a frightening professionalism. At the same time, she also possesses childish traits.

Like Atsushi, she believes she's worth very little and deserves to die for her crimes. However, unlike Atsushi, when she joins the Armed Detective Agency, Kyouka doesn't dwell on her mistakes. She's strong-willed and even states that she wants to prove to Akutagawa that she's more than just a murderer.

Kyouka is very fond of Atsushi. She shares a room with him and worries when he's in danger. She's by his side most of the time. She's presumably romantically involved with Nakajima Atsushi.

Kyouka Izumi's ability

Kyouka's ability, Snow Demon, allows her to materialize a katana-wielding phantom that follows orders from her phone, rather than fulfilling her own wishes. However, after joining the Armed Detective Agency, this problem was eliminated thanks to Fukuzawa Yukichi's "All People Are Equal" ability, allowing Izumi to control her ability.

As it later turned out, Kyouka wasn't the original wielder of the "Snow Demon"; the ability was passed down to her from her mother. In order to protect her daughter, Izumi's mother "passed" her ability to the girl, but due to the suddenness of the situation, control of the demon was transferred to the cell phone, not to Kyouka herself.

Ogai Mori

The leader of the Port Mafia. Osamu Dazai's mentor. Possesses the ability "Vita Sexualis." A man in his 40s, he is fairly tall and slender. His violet eyes, like those of a Mafia Boss, are almost always completely dark and lacking in sparkle, and his gaze always appears tired. He has a strange pattern on his pupils. He has straight, black hair that reaches below his chin, combed back and tied in a ponytail. Only two strands frame his face on either side along his cheekbones.

Mori Ogai, Boss of the Port Mafia He typically wears a formal suit consisting of a black pinstriped jacket and black trousers, which he tucks into black boots in a military style. Mori also wears a tie with purple and white pinstripes. Over his suit, he wears a black coat with a wide, stand-up collar, which has two small strap-like fasteners on the left side, and a long, dark maroon scarf that reaches almost to his knees, which he leaves untied at the shoulders. He also wears white gloves. In public, Mori wears a much less luxurious outfit, more typical of a "doctor." This includes a purple button-down shirt with a dark purple tie tied somewhat casually over it. He also wears khaki pants, dark brown low-heeled shoes, and a medical gown. He also wears his hair loose, with the strands that previously framed his forehead falling.

Ogai Mori

Mori Ougai initially appears as a clumsy and anxious man, concerned about Alice's health. However, he later demonstrates calm and strategic thinking, remaining in dangerous situations when others would flee. He is cruel and ruthless, manipulating people for the Port Mafia's benefit without regard for emotions. His intelligence allows him to exploit people, including Akiko Yosano and Osamu Dazai, to his advantage.

Mori maintains a polite demeanor and manners to maintain control of the situation and allay the suspicions of those around him. His former allies, such as Yukichi Fukuzawa and Dazai, see through his true nature. He respects his subordinates and values their contributions, allowing them a certain amount of leeway. Mori maintains partnerships with active members of his organization, such as Kyo Ozaki and Chuya Nakahara. As a result, he commands both the respect and fear of his subordinates within the Port Mafia.

Ogai Mori's ability

Vita Sexualis is an ability that allows Mori to summon and "customize" Alice's personality in any way he wishes. He can make her levitate, chase an enemy at high speed, and force her to save them no matter what. He can summon Alice at will and have her attack his enemies with a large piece of medical equipment that resembles a giant syringe.

Chuya Nakahara

A member of the Port Mafia Executive Committee and former partner of Osamu Dazai. He possesses the ability "Vague Sadness." The young man is short, but despite his apparent thinness, his build is quite muscular. He has large, brown eyes (gray-blue in the anime adaptation), shoulder-length, bright red hair parted on the right side, and a wide smile. His side-swept bangs visually cover most of the right side of his face. He wears his hair tied back in a ponytail and combed to the left.

Chuya Nakahara

At first glance, Chuuya Nakahara appears to be an arrogant and rude man who enjoys fighting and prides himself on his reputation as the Port Mafia's strongest martial artist. He isn't afraid to ridicule his opponents and eliminates them without hesitation, but his tactics are less dangerous than those of other mafia members. Despite his fiery temper, Chuuya is reasonable when not provoked and is quite reliable.

He enjoys fighting Akiko Yosano and Kenji Miyazawa, but breaks off the fight when he receives orders from Yukichi Fukuzawa. Chuya has no qualms about using Naomi Tanizaki and Kirako Haruno as bait, delighting in the fact that it angers the Agency. Despite his brutality, he understands the importance of compromise and rationality, refraining from unnecessary violence.

Chuuya also demonstrates loyalty to his subordinates and finds betrayal unbearable. In the past, he searched for his place in the world and questioned his humanity, which was exacerbated by his ignorance of the reasons for his liberation from government control. Chuuya's strength lies in his abilities, but the awareness of God's influence has left its mark on his life.

Chuya Nakahara's ability

Vague Sadness is Chuuya Nakahara's ability, which relies on manipulating gravity and creating black holes. It has two activation modes:

Normal "Corruption" Corruption is the true form of Chuuya's ability, which he activates through words. In the manga, it manifests through blood flowing from Chuuya's body; in the anime, strange markings appear on his body, and blood flows in the same manner. The danger of this ability is that once activated, he is unable to control it. Therefore, unless Dazai stops it in time, Chuuya will drain his energy and strength until he dies.

The corruption stems from Chuya's origins as the essence of Arahabaki, a god of immense destructive power.

Ryunosuke Akutagawa

A member of the Port Mafia and a former student of Dazai Osamu. He possesses the ability "Rashomon." Akutagawa has a slender build and very pale skin. He often covers his face with his hand because he coughs. He has short, black hair. Two longer strands frame the sides of his face. Near the tips, the black turns a dirty white. His bangs are short, leaving his forehead almost completely exposed. Akutagawa has deep-set, narrow eyes. He rarely smiles, giving the impression of a perpetually sullen man. He wears a long, three-layered shirt over tapered black trousers. Each layer is loosely cut, creating a "valanche" effect. He wears a white jabot over the neck of his shirt. The sleeves of the shirt are lacy and visible beneath the sleeves of the long black coat with a high, stand-up collar that Akutagawa wears over it. Because he doesn't tie a belt, it hangs loosely at the back and sides. He wears classic black low-heeled shoes.

Ryunosuke Akutagawa

Akutagawa adheres to the "survival of the fittest" philosophy, believing that the weak must give way to the strong. His ruthless nature makes him one of the most dangerous members of the Port Mafia, and his subordinates fear his quick temper. He is willing to carry out brutal orders, sparing no one, including civilians.

Despite his cruelty, Akutagawa is aloof and reserved toward his subordinates and superiors. His anger often stems from his past as an orphan in the slums of Yokohama, and the only significant event in his life was meeting Dazai, which changed his attitude toward others.

Akutagawa resents Dazai for his high opinion of Sakunosuke and feels inferior despite his achievements in the Mafia. His desire for Dazai's approval leads to conflict with Atsushi, whom he views as weak. However, Atsushi's transformation into a tiger confuses him, as he acts stronger than he appears. This conflicts with Akutagawa's perception of strength, leading to a clash of their worldviews.

Ryunosuke Akutagawa's ability

Rashomon is Ryunosuke Akutagawa's ability to transform his cloak, as well as any other clothing, into space-devouring matter. In addition to cutting space, Rashomon's strips of cloth can turn into extremely sharp blades that can be used to block blows and then capture the target. In addition, Rashomon can combine with Atsushi's ability - Beast of the Moonlight.

Fyodor Dostoevsky

He is the leader of the Rats of the Dead House criminal organization and a member of the Death of the Celestials. He possesses the ability "Crime and Punishment." Fyodor has a calm and quiet disposition. He possesses extensive knowledge of human psychology. He is unafraid of his enemies, masterfully manipulating them, and even allowing them to feel superior to him. He has a photographic memory and is able to memorize the smallest details in a very short time. Dostoevsky is extremely arrogant and straightforward, with a truly sinister character.

Fyodor Dostoevsky's ability

Crime and Punishment is an ability of Fyodor Dostoevsky. It is supposedly not limited to physical contact. Another hint to the nature of its origin is that it did not turn against him after being exposed to Shibusawa's mist. The ability called itself "punishment" for Fyodor's "crime", stating that the two are closely related.

Nikolai Gogol

One of the five main characters in the "Death of the Celestials" organization. Gogol's eyes are lined with pencil, and a black slit is drawn vertically through his left eye. Compared to his left eye, his right eye appears empty, lacking any glare, suggesting he may be blind. Above his right eye is what appears to be a mask, shaped like a map or a bandage.

Gogol's attire is as eccentric as his personality, closely resembling a circus ringmaster. He wears a predominantly black cloak, the right side of which is entirely black, black-and-white striped trousers, a shirt with a frilled round collar resembling a loose, intricate turtleneck, and dark gloves. A beautiful top hat with a diamond pattern completes Nikolai's attire. Gogol is presented as a rather cheerful sadist who enjoys asking others questions and answering them immediately, without waiting for an answer. Very often, or rather constantly, he is cheerful and quite maddened by the answers to his own questions, making a real crime out of it. Like Dostoevsky, Gogol also believes that he can cleanse the current world of espers and stain it with blood. When he introduced himself to Oguri, he called himself a punisher of the celestials, problems his organization doesn't need, and people who know too much.

Gogol claims to be completely normal and understands that killing people is wrong. But he enjoys the feeling of absolute freedom; he desires to be free, like a bird. Nikolai claims that the skull is the cage from which he dreams of flying. Only Fyodor Dostoevsky, whom he calls "Dos-kun," understands him.

Nikolai Gogol's ability

Overcoat – Thanks to his cloak, Gogol displays an ability that allows him to link himself to space within a range of approximately 30 meters and move objects within it. He typically uses this on himself to teleport behind enemies, but the technique can also be applied to other objects, including people.

Sigma

A former member of Decay of the Angel and the general manager of Sky Casino, he is a young man with long, straight hair that reaches his waist. Some of his hair is pulled back into loose buns and parted in the middle of his face. The left side of his hair is lilac, while the right side is white. He has grayish eyes and wears earrings in both ears. He wears a long white coat and black pants. On the inside of his coat is a glittering galaxy pattern.

Sigma

He treats his customers well at Sky Casino, considering the fact that he gave the customer another chance after saying the game was void.

He also has a highly developed sense of ownership. In a conversation with Teruko Okura about closing the casino, Sigma refuses, even asking who will compensate for the losses and restore the casino's reputation if it closes. He claims the casino is his life, and his customers are priceless. He maintains a confident and collected demeanor even in crisis situations in the presence of his employees, creating the impression of an ideal casino manager and a capable leader. Left alone, Sigma begins to panic and admits to lacking confidence in his casino management skills due to his lack of natural talent. Having no memories, no family, and no friends, Sigma's deepest desire is to find meaning in life. Fyodor Dostoevsky also described him as relentless, as Sigma is a desperate man.

Sigma ability

Ability to exchange information His ability allows him to exchange information with anyone he touches. The exchange consists of him "giving away" the personal information they want to know, and in turn, receiving from Sigma the information he wants to know.

Snitches

The Bloodhounds are an elite special forces combat unit specializing in capturing dangerous espers. They are comprised of five of the strongest fighters selected from across the country. Their leader is Ochi Fukuchi, and their second-in-command is Teruka Ookura.

Michizu Tachihara

The fifth and final member of the special forces unit, the Bloodhound, working undercover as a Port Mafia mobster and a lieutenant of the Black Lizards. He is currently a double spy.

A slightly imposing young man with short, spiky hair dyed rusty red and amber eyes. He has a bandage on the bridge of his nose. His natural hair color is black.

Despite his rough exterior, Tachihara is capable of rational thought, just not behind the Port Mafia's lines. He quickly recognizes danger and becomes unnerved by the carefree manner in which Mori, Kouyou, and Chuuya met. Tachihara has a keen understanding of how to deal with enemies, hinting at a much more cunning side to his true nature. Regardless of who he works for, Tachihara cares deeply for his comrades. He was the first to try to stop Higuchi when she attempted to rescue Akutagawa on her own, and was seen clearly hiding his guilt for killing Hirotsu and Gin for the sake of his espionage mission. He was also seen tending to Teruko after she revealed she was gravely injured in a head-on collision with a plane.

Michizu Tachihara's ability

A note about Winter Solstice—an ability that grants him ferrokinesis, the ability to manipulate metal. Tachihara can remotely control any metal object, primarily his hunting dogs and pistols. His ability can even move a mannequin like a human, and the weapons he controls can hover. Teruko also mentioned that his ability is useful for theft as well as assassination, making him someone "born to be a spy."

Ochi Fukuchi

The leader of the invincible special forces unit "Sleuths," who wields the "Lion Dance" ability. He is also the head of the "Death of the Celestials," known by the codename Kamui. A tall, middle-aged man wearing a dark military uniform, high boots, and a sword at his belt. He has spiky light hair with a few strands escaping over his face. Three scars are located on his right cheek. He also has an upward-pointing mustache. An extremely eccentric, cheerful, and somewhat simple person, prone to boisterous behavior and sudden actions. However, in situations requiring a serious approach, Fukuchi proves himself to be a good leader and a decisive, courageous individual. He also speaks proudly of the professionalism of his team.

Ochi Fukuchi's ability

Lion Dance - allows you to strengthen any weapon in your hands by 100 times.

Saigiku Jono

He is a member of the elite special forces unit, the Hounds. He possesses the ability "Golden Tears." A young man of average height, he has short light-colored hair with dark ends, usually combed to the sides. He wears an earring on his right ear. His eyes are always closed, as he is blind, and his face is usually adorned with a kind and harmless smile. He wears the standard uniform of the Bloodhound squad, which includes a cap, suit, cloak, and his own saber-like sword. He respects his commander but asks him not to act rashly, so as not to worry the team. He often threatens to punish or kill him when the commander fails to take his advice and duties seriously. Jono likes to tease Tette and mocks his fighting style a little, criticizing his stances and perhaps his slightly thoughtless actions.

Saigikyu Jono's ability

Golden Tears is an ability that allows Jono to manipulate his own body and disintegrate it into particles, allowing him to slip through small spaces like air conditioners and doorways to avoid attacks. This particle cluster is unaffected by guns or swords.

Teruko Okura

Deputy commander of the invincible special forces unit "Bloodhounds" who possesses the ability "Heartache". A short young woman dressed in the standard Tracker uniform. Her long, light hair is pulled back into a wavy ponytail and tied with what appears to be a large ribbon. As befits a Tracker, she carries a sword at her side. Teruko is presented as a cruel, intense, and boastful girl who revels in her position in the squad. She possesses a certain fierceness and easily intimidates anyone who dares to contradict her. She often likes to threaten death or the amputation of one of her interlocutors. According to Saigikou, if you anger her, no one will survive, so even the squad members are afraid to dare say anything inappropriate to her. Despite her constant aggression, she is extremely obsessed with Commander Fukuchi and therefore acts like a rabid fan, taking his every action or word as ideal.

Teruko Ookura's ability

Soul Tremors - When activated, Teruko transforms into a mature woman with long, curly dusty pink hair, possessing superhuman strength (she was able to stop a flying drone with her bare hands). Furthermore, this ability grants her sufficient endurance to survive the explosion of a drone packed with Sigma's explosive coins. Teruko's ability can also work in reverse, manipulating the age of anyone it touches.

His bangs fall across his face and peek out from under the brim of his hat. He is dressed in the standard Bloodhound uniform. He has three distinctive markings under his left eye. Compared to his peers, Tette has a more serious personality, despite meeting all the criteria for an eccentric. For example, he has a habit of combining foods of the same color and then eating them; he can watch an ant colony for eight hours straight; or he periodically exercises his muscles, even during meetings.

She wears glasses, a white shirt, a long brown skirt, and ankle boots, often with a long, coffee-colored cardigan with a patterned lining draped over her shoulders. Louise is presented as a very secretive individual, rarely speaking to anyone except Fitzgerald. She avoids meeting or speaking to people, trying at best to avoid their notice, presenting herself as a very shy woman. According to Margaret, Lady Alcott is afraid of heights, as she, along with several other Guild members, was unable to land at the destination. Furthermore, a rumor previously circulated within the Guild that she never used her ability for personal gain and, apparently, takes orders exclusively from Fitzgerald, as she harbors very warm feelings for him, although she hides it. She is a highly talented strategist, having predicted what the Agency would do with the information about Moby-Dick obtained from Edgar Allan Poe.

Louisa May Alcott's ability

Little Women—her ability allows her to determine the percentage probability of events occurring, as well as predict their outcomes. However, Alcott cannot see the future of everyone, only certain individuals who are part of her future strategy. He is usually seen wearing a white shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows. He wears blue gardening overalls with a single strap. He also wears a hat with a small peak. He has a belt with a large square buckle, and his pants are dark with light stripes. His boots have black soles and are rolled up at the top, ending just below the knees. He almost always has Carl sitting on his shoulders. Po is presented as a quiet person, often confined to his pet, Carl. He often appears very calm and sometimes resents Ranpo, who deciphers everything Edgar asks him. Furthermore, Po dislikes Ranpo due to a past investigation he uncovered that humiliated him. He also claims to have no interest in the Esper Guild or its members, as their only goal is money and violence, which he finds extremely boring. He claims that only one thing in the world deserves admiration: Ranpo's "super deductive powers."

Edgar Allan Poe's ability

The Black Cat of the Rue Morgue—Poe's ability can transport readers to the setting of any detective novel, especially one about murder. Other genres aren't affected by his abilities. The only requirement is that it must be the novel they're currently reading.

Moby Dick is an ability that allows the materialization of a massive white whale capable of hovering. However, Melville mentions that Moby Dick is actually a living creature, which the Guild converted into its final base during the Three-Way War between the organizations. Furthermore, they managed to mechanize Moby Dick by over 70%, thus subordinating its control to machinery and removing its owner's control. Moby Dick is capable of free flight and makes himself completely invisible. Furthermore, he is equipped with very powerful weaponry.

He had brown hair that reached the back of his head and was tucked behind his ears, with his bangs combed slightly to the right above his forehead. He wore a white collared shirt, a white tie, and a black waistcoat, over which he wore a dark green tailcoat with a collar and white trim. He also wore gray trousers tucked into black knee-high boots. As Fitzgerald's senior secretary, he had a very reserved personality and spoke with great politeness. He was also one of the Guild members Fitzgerald trusted, given the fact that it was James who handed over the briefcase containing the money during the meeting with Fukuzawa.

Lucy Maud Montgomery

A former member of the American organization known as the Guild, she would later work as a waitress after being exiled. Her ability is called "Anne of the Abyss." She has long, dark red hair that she wears in two thick braids. She also has green eyes and pale skin. She is quite short and has a slender build. She wears braces. During Kenji's abduction, she was wearing a dress and a flower in her hair. In subsequent events, she is depicted wearing an apron. Due to the abuse she suffered at the orphanage, she views herself as a pawn within the Guild and is convinced she was accepted only because of her esper abilities. She fears she will become useless to them if she fails a mission. Lucy is a very strange individual, often arrogant and rude, attempting to conceal her true nature behind a veneer of cruelty. She is afraid of being alone, so even after her defeat by Atsushi, she begged Fitzgerald to let her stay in the Guild. Despite this, after Atsushi's speech while imprisoned on Moby-Dick, she helped him escape to save the city. It was also she who inspired him to consider the usefulness of a Mafia-Detective Agency partnership in the fight against the Guild. Atsushi later conveyed this plan to the Director, and it was put into action.

She appears very arrogant and acts coldly toward both her subordinates and her partner, which can be explained by a reluctance to appear weak. Despite this, she does show her softer side from time to time. Margaret has also proven herself to be quite a diligent individualist, doing all the work herself, without Hawthorne's input, and giving instructions herself, only to criticize him for not doing anything to speed up the loading process. She has cornflower-blue eyes and medium-length light brown hair pinned at the back of her head. She wears a dress typical of American Civil War times, appropriate for a "Southern lady."

Margaret Mitchell's ability

Gone with the Wind is a weathering ability—the ability to destroy materials using wind. Its limitations are unknown, but it has been shown to be able to destroy clothing, paper, and wood. And since Margaret threatened Kaji with "turning him into a mummy," it can be assumed that her abilities may be far more powerful than currently shown. Furthermore, her ability allows her to transport certain objects through the air, as demonstrated when Margaret transported the Guild members to the ground during the Port Mafia's skirmish with the agency.

He's a man of God and seems to take his religion very seriously. He believes he's been given a mission by God to judge the gravest sinners.
