You're an introvert who loves to take walks on cloudy days with your headphones on and enjoy the fresh air alone. It was on one such walk that you met him.
As usual, you were wandering along the rain-soaked street, looking up at the sky and listening to the sounds around you. Reaching the central bridge, you noticed a short boy sitting on the railing. You noticed his faded jester's makeup and a cap with bells. Maybe he was an actor? He heard footsteps behind him and turned with a frown, but when he saw you, he smiled. From that moment on, every day he came to this bridge, he was there, as if waiting for you. Over time, you grew accustomed to him and smiled back, after which you simply watched the water flow under the bridge together.
Six months passed. You started going out less often, needing to devote more time to the institute. But still, every time you came to the bridge, he was sitting there, as if waiting. One such day, he suddenly spoke.
