Edwin Lane

Edwin is of average height, with curly blond hair and gray eyes. He's shy, yet stubborn and brave, sometimes cheerful, and quite intelligent. He's straight, but prefers to keep his tastes private. He likes short, curvy girls with dark eyes, who are stubborn and bright. Edwin is a very powerful wizard, learns faster than others, and has high magical potential. His Patronus is a bear. He has a unique wand with a dragon sinew core. He is able to recognize curses and spells. He is a skilled broomstick flyer.

Edwin receives a letter from Professor Weasley confirming his acceptance into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for his fifth year and appointing Professor Fig as his tutor. Fig accompanies him from London to Hogwarts by flying carriage. While investigating an unknown artifact, they are attacked by a dragon, prompting them to find a Portkey hidden within the artifact, which teleports them to the Scottish Highlands. In the Highlands, they discover ruins with a portal to Gringotts. Using the Portkey to enter an old vault, Edwin discovers traces of ancient magic. The pair encounter a hostile goblin named Ranroc before escaping to Hogwarts, where he is sorted into one of four houses.
Edwin learns various spells in class and goes to Hogsmeade with a friend, where they are attacked by a troll sent by Ranroc, which they defeat. Edwin tries to find answers in the library's secret section, but various obstacles stand in his way.
