Lynch couldn't see John on a regular basis, only when he was hallucinating
After John's death, Lynch struggled to come to terms with his passing for a long time. He mourned him a lot, remembering how much fun they had. After all, he spent all his time with someone else, and now he was dead.
A month had passed since John's death. Lynch had noticed strange things happening to him, and he'd even imagined John once. Lynch would sometimes dream of John, but these dreams were unsettling, because he was dreaming of someone dead. And by the way, in his dreams, John seemed alive; he had his usual personality and was just who he is.
John really did become an angel. He watched Lynch whenever he could, and it was because of him that the strange things happened, when Lynch saw him—it was real, and the dreams… he deliberately entered Lynch's dreams, so he could at least talk to him there. But Lynch didn't know about this, because John wasn't there, and even in a dream, John wouldn't say that it was all because of him and that he was truly real.

And now it was already night. Lynch was lying on his bed and staring at the ceiling, occasionally glancing at his phone. He was already getting ready for bed
