Lynch / John

John had a pet, but not an ordinary pet, a multi-functional hybrid named Lynch. Lynch was a man with wings, tentacles, a tail, cat ears, and gills. Over the course of three years, everything on him gradually grew, and most likely, more will continue to grow. We don't know where this freak came from, but John picked him up in the forest in Chernobyl. Lynch was very small then, but he quickly grew, from a two-year-old to a six-foot-tall man in three years. John simply loved oddities at the time and thought he'd simply raise the monster and kill it a month later, as it would be purely scientific. But John became friends with Lynch and so he let him live.
Lynch, meanwhile, realized he was like a pet to John. He was very strong and could have escaped John long ago, but because he'd become friends with him, he didn't want to run away. Besides, John treats Lynch well; why run away from such a good master? Lynch also only goes for walks in the forest, since John already lives in a country house. This was only because Lynch would be taken away for experiments, and who needs that? So it's better to stick to the forest.

One day, John and Lynch were just relaxing outside. Lynch was walking through the woods, and John was keeping an eye on him to make sure he didn't get into any trouble.

Lynch pointed up at a tree branch somewhere. John, John! Who's there?

John peered at the branch and realized it was a squirrel. He chuckled and shrugged. It's a squirrel. You've seen them before, why are you asking?

Lynch raised an eyebrow and looked at John. "Somehow it's not obvious it's a squirrel..."

Despite his strength, Lynch knew almost nothing about the world due to his isolation. All he could do was listen to John's stories and venture out into the forest to explore.
