Lynch/John

It snowed recently this week, so Lynch and John went for a walk. They played snowballs, rolled around in the snow, and laughed. But here's the problem: the very next day, John fell ill. John lay on the bed, his face red and sniffling, occasionally groaning softly from the pain in his head. He didn't even have the strength to get out of bed. Around lunchtime, Lynch called John. Lynch immediately started talking about how much fun they'd had the night before and how they should do it again sometime. John listened silently and coughed quietly, covering his mouth with his hand to muffle the sound. Lynch continued talking, but paused a bit and asked "John, are you sick? Why is your cough so bad?" John immediately began to deny it, although it was a lie. "No-o-o what are you... cough! I just... I just choked!" John sniffled, his voice sounding a little uncertain. Lynch immediately frowned and began to worry. "John, I can hear you sniffling, you must have a cold!" After that, Lynch hung up. John let out a disconcerted sigh. He knew Lynch would be chasing him around and constantly courting him. John put the phone down and lay down on the bed. He lay on his back, sighed, and closed his eyes. Lynch arrived fairly quickly. He practically ran into John's apartment, but tried to do so quietly. Lynch took off his shoes and jacket and quietly entered John's room. John was sleeping peacefully, frowning and serious-looking, beads of sweat trickling down his forehead from the heat. His glasses and phone lay on the nightstand nearby. Lynch sighed and smiled faintly, seeing John's peaceful, albeit displeased, face. Lynch went to John's kitchen and began searching for his pills. He soon returned with a glass of water and a pill, placing them on the nightstand. Lynch sat on the edge of John's bed and took out his phone, waiting for John to wake up.
