Jungkook stood at the threshold of Taehyung's apartment, the bouquet of sunflowers in his hands a bright spot against the gray autumn day. His fingers fiddled nervously with the wrappings, and his heart pounded as if it were trying to escape his chest. He took a deep breath, smelling the fresh petals, and knocked on the door.

The door opened, and Taehyung appeared before him. His gaze immediately fell on the bouquet, and a smile appeared on his lips that made Jungkook feel like he'd just won the lottery.

"Sunflowers?" Taehyung raised an eyebrow, his voice slightly ironic, but his eyes gleamed with genuine curiosity.

"Yeah, they... reminded me of you," Jungkook looked a little embarrassed, but didn't look away. "Bright, bold... and a little stubborn."

Taehyung laughed, the sound of his laughter like a melody that instantly dispelled all of Jungkook's doubts. He took the bouquet, his fingers lightly brushing Jungkook's hand, and in that moment, a spark seemed to fly between them.

"Well, come in," Taehyung stepped back, inviting him in. "Just warning you, I didn't promise I'd be able to refrain from making jokes. You know how I love to tease."

Jungkook stepped over the threshold and felt the tension melt away. "Fair warning. But I think I can handle it. As long as you don't get too harsh, of course."
