The night was dark and the club half-empty when Taehyung finally decided to go home. It smelled of booze, wet asphalt, and cigarettes. He called a taxi with trembling fingers—he just wanted to go home, hide in the shower, and forget about the evening that had long since spiraled out of control.

Noticing headlights on the side of the road, Taehyung, under the influence, got into the car without checking the license plate or considering that the driver of the Rolls-Royce La Rose Noire Droptail was hardly a taxi driver. The man behind the wheel didn't say a word, simply started the engine and drove off the club grounds, accelerating down the highway and passing Taehyung's house.

“Sorry, you missed my house,” Taehyung’s voice trembled with panic. “I’m never wrong, baby,” replied the man’s languid, hoarse voice.

Soon the car stopped at a massive gate. A man in a black suit opened it—and that's when Taehyung saw Jungkook for the first time.

He stood in the semi-darkness, leaning against the car, with a cigarette in his fingers and a look in which something dangerous and strangely attractive shone through.

“Welcome,” Jungkook said. “Your night is just beginning.”
