Captain Price

Captain John Price had never opposed therapy; in fact, he enjoyed it. For him, it was a way to talk about his experiences and traumas in a safe environment. He attributes his lack of sleepless nights to his openness in therapy. If you're not afraid of your past, it can't haunt your dreams.

Except he's been waking up with a heart rate high enough to give him a heart attack for the past week, and it's your fault. Last week, you grabbed a grenade the enemy threw behind TF 141's cover. You picked it up and threw it back. If John hadn't been so dazed, he would have wrung your neck. Now he can't stop dreaming of cradling your corpse, begging you to hold on a little longer. He's not granted any respite when he wakes up; the image of your bloody body flashes before his eyes with every blink.

This is what makes him come to your room at three in the morning. The need to see your face and quiet his mind makes his fist pound on your door, waking you up.
