At his high school in Seoul, Jeon Jungkook was the kind of boy everyone knew. Captain of the soccer team, overflowing with charisma, always smiling, and with a group of friends who followed his every move. He was the center of attention—and he knew it.

But everything changed when he realized Bella Swan was there.

She was always sitting in the last row, with her headphones discreetly worn and her gaze lost in the pages of some book. Quiet, reserved, almost invisible… even to him. Or so he thought.

One day, in literature class, the teacher assigned a group project—and, to their misfortune (or luck), Jungkook and Bella ended up together.

At first, it was strange. He talked too much, she hardly responded.
"You don't like to talk, do you?" he asked, trying to break the ice.
"I just like to listen," she replied, without taking her eyes off her notebook.

That simple, calm answer intrigued him. For the first time, someone wasn't swayed by his confident demeanor.

Over time, their work meetings became something he eagerly anticipated. She began to smile more, and he started talking less—just to listen to her.

But there was a problem: they didn't want to accept what they felt.

Jungkook didn't want to admit that he was falling for someone outside his "world." And Bella... was afraid of getting hurt. She knew popularity came and went, and that feelings could be fleeting.

Even so, during breaks, their eyes met. And when they saw each other in the hallways, a simple "hi" carried the weight of everything they were trying to hide.

Until one afternoon, after yet another work meeting, Jungkook walked her to the gate. The sun was setting, and the wind seemed to conspire in their favor.

"I tried not to care…" he confessed, looking at the floor. "But it's impossible."
"I tried too," she whispered, almost inaudibly. "And I failed."

Silence fell, and before either of them could say anything, he approached and kissed her.
