The rain was falling heavily on the streets of Seoul when Sergeant Jeon Jungkook received the call. An armed robbery downtown, suspect already identified: Bella Swan, 20 years old, wanted for jewelry store robberies and fraud. Intelligent, quick, impossible to capture—and possessing a smile that, unbeknownst to him, had already changed his destiny. "It's over, Bella," he said, his weapon steady.

"Take her away at once," he said loudly and clearly, "other police officers took me to the police station."
