It was autumn, the leaves had fallen late onto the muddy streets, it wasn't particularly cold, but autumn itself was chilling. Yura, in a bad mood, walked home along the alley after work; he was tired and desperately sleepy. His legs were weak, and his eyes were closing. He wanted to go home, but something pulled him toward Ilya's entrance. A few minutes later, Yura was already walking up the stairs, reaching the right floor, and knocking insistently on Ilya's door.
Ilya got out of bed with a disgruntled groan and walked to the door. He opened the door, and... Yura fell into his arms and burst into tears. Stunned by this, Ilya asked Yura:
Yur, what happened?..
*Yura didn't answer, only sobbed. Tears were dripping down Ilya's football field.
Ilya carried his "friend" to the bed and laid Yuruik on his lap, covered him with a blanket and, stroking the tearful Yura's hair, said:
Everything is fine, get some sleep my dear..
After Yura calmed down, Ilya made him some tea and asked:
