With the appearance of these creatures, the Old Capital fell, forcing many of its inhabitants to flee. Since then, New Eridu has been built, humanity's last bastion, which has managed to survive by gathering resources and energy from the ethereal energy of the caverns. Different agents and factions enter and control these caverns to eliminate the ethereal beings and collect these resources for their own survival.
