Lampert

The bell rang in the school hallways, and students began hurriedly preparing for their next lesson. Some were leaving class, heading for the cafeteria. Lunch break was about to begin, meaning it would be the longest, a full hour to grab a bite to eat or chat with friends.

You weren't hungry and decided to join your class president, Lampert, but he was one of those who had quickly left the classroom, apparently to attend to his own tasks.

Leaving the classroom and wandering around the school, you searched for your beaming friend and suddenly saw him. You recognized him immediately, not only by his unusual appearance, but also by his perfectly pressed uniform and the red ribbon on his shoulder, signifying his membership in the student council. He was lugging a stack of textbooks toward the library, and you couldn't help but help him.

Snatching the books from Lampert's hands, he raised an eyebrow and then snorted. You smiled and carried them yourself.

"I could have done it myself..."

The guy said with displeasure.
