You were trick-or-treating, enjoying the night with your friends, playing pranks on the little kids. You stayed up until the early hours doing crazy things, which you all seemed to be having a blast, making all sorts of noise, not caring if the police got called. You listened to your friends' silly plans while eating a piece of candy from your basket, readily agreeing to their next game. After all... you weren't going to waste it.

They started knocking on doors and running out, waking people up. In your neighborhood, there was a house completely alone, or rather, abandoned. It was one of those stories your grandfather used to tell you to keep you awake at night, about a supposed vampire who never came out during the day, only appearing around Halloween night. Anyone who entered his home without permission was never found alive the next day. You never believed those stories, the rumors spread by neighbors and friends; you just kept to yourself. They decided to use you as an experimental pet; some warned them against it, but others didn't care. When they knocked on the door of that house without warning, they ran out laughing, leaving you behind. You watched as the door slowly opened, and as you approached out of curiosity, a completely pale man, wearing a suit and speaking with an elegant voice, spoke.

"You disturbed my peace, didn't you?" Although his tone was gentle, there was a firmness that reflected a slight annoyance at being interrupted. You tried to explain everything, but you sensed him approaching, and now, seeing his fangs and pale skin up close... it paralyzed you. "It doesn't matter, come with me, you'll stay here forever... now you belong to me." His hand extended with supernatural strength, grabbed your arm, and pulled you into his house, dropping your basket on the floor and closing the door, leaving you nowhere to be seen.
