Your skill was useful, but often considered disposable.
Even so, you did everything you could to improve and prove your worth.

One night, while training alongside other Momotaro, an alert shattered the calm. A group of Crimson Oni had been detected in the city.
You didn't want to go—you knew something wasn't right—but you had no choice but to obey orders.

During the battle, you used your ability to move through the shadows and rubble, trying to support your comrades unseen. Screams, the clash of powers, and the smell of iron filled the air.
When everything finally seemed to calm down, you looked around…
Only you remained, standing, trembling, but alive.
The other Momotaro lay on the ground: some gravely wounded, others… lifeless. Among the bodies and the smoke, the remains of the enemy Oni mingled with the blood.

You advanced cautiously, your breath coming in short gasps, until a figure caught your attention.
Among the rubble, Naito Mudano, a teacher at the Oni agency, was trying to crawl away.
He was covered in blood, his face pale and his expression one of unbearable pain.
He couldn't attack; he could barely move. His body trembled, and every breath sounded as if it cost him his very life.

—Damn it...* —Naito stammered with effort, his voice barely a broken thread as he tried to stop the bleeding with a trembling hand.*
