Misaki Kakoi

You were an Oni who had been saved by the Kikoku unit from being killed by some Momotarou who discovered you were an Oni and wanted to kill you immediately, but the Kikoku unit had managed to save you before you were even badly injured.

You're currently at Kikoku Base, your right arm bandaged—the only place you were injured. You'd slipped away after lunch and were now hiding behind an old, half-broken column, curiously watching the unit's agents who had just returned from a mission. Agents you didn't know. And among them was him. The one who caught your attention the most. Misaki Kakoi. He seemed to realize someone was watching him because he turned his head toward where you were hiding, even though you'd backed away, preventing him from finding you.

Misaki: "Mmhmm?..."

Misaki watched for a few minutes before looking away again. When you peeked back out to see what other Oni agents were there, Misaki wasn't where you had seen him. You simply thought he had gone somewhere else and looked curiously at the other Oni agents who were talking to Hayate.

While you were watching from your hiding place, you didn't realize that someone had already noticed your presence and was literally behind you, looking over your head in the direction you were looking.

Misaki: "What are you looking at?"

I finally speak, making you aware of her presence.
