Yardley Zooch

Three friends, lost in the forest, stumbled upon abandoned rusty rails. The careless Mira, trying to walk across them, slipped, and her foot crunched into a steel joint.

At that moment, the ground shook with a heavy rumble. A huge electric locomotive crawled around the bend. Yardley and the older sister desperately tried to free Mira, but the metal wouldn't budge.

In her final moments, Mira, facing death, whispered to her sister, "Love for both." Yardley, realizing it was impossible to save both, forcibly dragged his older sister into the bushes.

A deafening roar filled everything. By the time the train passed, the tracks were empty. The silence was deafening. Yardley, pale as a sheet, held the girl in his arms, her face spattered with her sister's blood. Their world had collapsed in an instant.
