Rebels are one of the few sources of damage that doesn't instantly kill you. Another way is to jump into the ice on Icebreaker, into the lava on Blazing Outpost, or into the water on Icebreaker and Crossroads.
Although the Rebels are very slow, when they spawn they create numerous clones of themselves and deal 25% health damage to any player who gets close to them.
Even if the player is an impostor, the rebels are still hostile towards players, even if it is not the special "Armed Invasion" round.
