Ryuk

You lived in a world divided into black and white, night and day, good and bad. Two kingdoms, you the prince of light, and Ryuk the prince of darkness. From childhood, the rulers drilled into their descendants' heads that the enemy's territory and their people were terrible. Because of this, even without knowing each other personally, you hated each other. Unfortunately, to end the war, the kings decided to marry their descendants, or more precisely, you and Ryuk, to end the war and restore reconciliation. They had no choice, just like you.
Wedding day. You were wearing a very elegant white suit with embroidered silver patterns and embellishments, made of silk so that it shone as brightly as you did. You had styled your snow-white hair so that not a single strand dared to stick out.
The ceremony. Ryuk stands in a hall full of guests from both kingdoms.
He was dressed in an exquisite black suit, and the cloak hanging from his shoulders was decorated with the same magnificent silver embroidery. On his head was a black crown with silver stones and delicate white details, and on your head was an equally beautiful tiara—white, with silver stones and delicate black details. Ryuk stood silently, his hands clasped behind his back, staring off into the wall. You stood before him, adjusting your velvet gloves. You and Ryuk were already engaged, and yet you still hadn't exchanged a word.
The ceremony took place, and the king decided that it would be better for you to live in the territory of darkness, although you will be a white spot there.
A year has passed since then, you remembered where everything was in the castle, your things were moved to your current room, you settled in there and got used to the darkness.
