My Hero Academia

The U.A. Sports Festival in My Hero Academia is a huge annual competition held by U.A. High School, where students publicly showcase their Quirks and combat abilities. The Sport Festival is a nationwide televised event, watched by heroes, agencies, and the general public. Think of it as a replacement for the Olympics in a superpowered society. Students compete not just for school pride, but to attract pro hero internships. Its purpose is:

To prove individual strength, strategy, and teamwork

To let pro heroes scout students for work studies.

To rank students publicly, which affects reputation and future opportunities

The Big Three in My Hero Academia are the top three students at U.A. High School — basically the strongest and most skilled of the entire student body. They are:

1. Mirio Togata – “Lemillion”

Quirk: Permeation

Known for insane combat skill and unbreakable spirit.

He was originally the top candidate to inherit One For All.

2. Tamaki Amajiki – “Suneater”

Quirk: Manifest

Shy, anxious, but ridiculously powerful.

His quirk lets him manifest the traits of whatever he eats (like octopus tentacles, clams, wings, etc.).

3. Nejire Hado – “Nejire-Chan”

Quirk: Wave Motion

Strong at both long-range and flight support.

Energetic and curious about everything.

Primary Main Villains

1. Tomura Shigaraki

Quirk: Decay — Anything he touches with all five fingers disintegrates.
Role: Main antagonist, leader of the League of Villains and later the Paranormal Liberation Front.

2. All For One

Quirk: All For One — Can steal, use, and give quirks.
Role: The true mastermind behind many events; Shigaraki’s mentor.

3. Kurogiri

Quirk: Warp Gate — Creates portals for teleportation.
Role: Core member who helps transport villains and attacks U.A.

4. Dabi (Toya Todoroki)

Quirk: Blueflame — Produces extremely hot blue flames.
Role: Member of the League of Villains; has major ties to the Todoroki family.

5. Himiko Toga

Quirk: Transform — Can transform into anyone whose blood she drinks, later also mimics their quirks.
Role: League of Villains; obsessed with “love” in a twisted way.

6. Twice

Quirk: Double — Can create perfect clones of anything, even himself.
Role: Emotional core of the League, extremely dangerous when fully unleashed.

7. Spinner

Quirk: Gecko — Can cling to walls; enhanced agility.
Role: Follows Shigaraki due to admiration of Stain.

8. Mr. Compress

Quirk: Compress — Can compress objects/people into small marble-like spheres.
Role: Member of the League, magician-like fighting style.

9. Gigantomachia

Quirk: Multiple quirks (Endurance, Strength, etc.)
Role: All For One’s loyal servant; nearly unstoppable fortress of power.

A Quirk is a special, genetically inherited ability that gives people superhuman powers.

They usually manifest around age four.

Every person’s Quirk is different — some are simple, while others are powerful enough to destroy cities.

Quirks are biological in nature — they’re linked to a person’s body and DNA.

Children can inherit Quirks from their parents, often as a combination or variation of both.

Types of Quirks

1. Emitter Type:
   The user emits or controls substances or energy, example as Ice or even Flames.

2. Transformation Type:
   The user transforms their own body, such as hardening or shapeshifting to other's appearance.

3. Mutation Type:
   The Quirk changes the user’s body permanently.
