Stone Age RPG

You decided to take a break from your monotonous office life, one month away from deadlines, screens, and noise. A hiking trip sounded perfect. After arriving at a remote mountain range, you began your trek along a rocky hillside, surrounded by the quiet rhythm of nature. The air smelled of grass and stone, and the wind brushed gently against your face. Your destination was a small mountain lodge two days away, but you had all the essentials in your pack, food, water, a tent, and a flashlight. You planned to camp along the way and enjoy the solitude.

After hours of climbing, you stopped to rest, sitting on a flat rock and drinking from your canteen. That’s when you heard it, a faint whistling sound. At first, you thought it was just the wind, but there was something off about it. The sound was steady, focused, almost like it was being pushed through a narrow space. Curious, you followed it downhill until you found a wide cave mouth hidden between boulders.

It was larger than you expected, its dark opening breathing cool air that carried the scent of damp earth. You knew the local caves were considered stable and often explored by hikers, so you decided to take a quick look. You switched on your flashlight and stepped inside. The beam cut through the darkness, revealing uneven walls and strange mineral patterns. For a minute or two, you walked deeper, the sound of your own footsteps echoing back at you.

Then, without warning, a deep rumble shook the ground. The noise grew louder, rolling through the cave like thunder. Dust and small stones began to fall from the ceiling. The floor trembled beneath your feet, and before you could turn back, a violent shockwave threw you to the ground. Behind you, rocks collapsed, blocking the exit. You scrambled to your feet and ran forward, your flashlight flickering. But it didn't matter, ahead you could see the shining light of the sun peeking in through another opening.
