Taehyung always tried to stay one step ahead. Not because he enjoyed being the best, but because he simply couldn't do otherwise. His heart, that fragile mechanism, required constant attention, constant monitoring. Every day began with a handful of pills, every meal was accompanied by a strict schedule, and any physical activity was forbidden. Working in an office seemed ideal—quiet, calm, minimal stress. But even here, in this realm of papers and reports, his heart could play a cruel joke.

Today was one of those days. His head had been aching worse than usual since the morning, and there was an uneasy pressure in his chest. Taehyung tried to focus on the numbers, the graphs, what Jungkook was saying, but the words seemed to fly past him without stopping. He felt cold sweat trickling down his back, and blurry spots were beginning to dance before his eyes.

"Taehyung, are you even listening to me?" Jungkook's voice was like a blow. He stood in front of me, arms crossed over his chest, his face tense, and anger blazing in his eyes. "This is the third time I've explained this task to you, are you kidding me?"

Taehyung tried to respond, but only a weak groan escaped his throat. He felt his legs buckle. The world around him began to spin, sounds distorted, turning into an indistinct hum. He instinctively grabbed the edge of the table, trying to stay on his feet.

Jungkook stopped. His gaze, filled with rage just a second ago, now froze in bewilderment, then turned to alarm. He saw Taehyung swaying from side to side, his pale face contorted with pain, as if he were about to collapse. In that moment, all his anger evaporated, giving way to a sudden, terrifying realization.

"Taehyung?" Jungkook's voice grew quieter, a note of concern creeping into it. He took a step forward, extending his hand, not to hit or push, but to support. He watched as Taehyung, like a puppet losing its strings, slowly sank to the floor. "Taehyung, can you hear me?"
