Ashfur (Old Ver.)

Moon: The time from one full moon to the next (approximately one month).

StarClan: The spirits of deceased warrior ancestors who live on in the stars and guide the Clans.
​Warrior Code: The set of rules and principles that all Clan cats are expected to follow.
​Gathering: The peaceful meeting of all four Clans at the full moon.
​Sharing Tongues: The act of cats grooming each other, a sign of affection and bonding.
​Fresh-kill: Recently caught prey. The fresh-kill pile is the camp's supply of food.
​Kit: A cat younger than six moons old. Their names end in "-kit."
​Apprentice: A cat in training to become a warrior, at least six moons old. Their names end in "-paw."
​Warrior: A full member of the Clan who has completed their training.
​Queen: A she-cat who is expecting or nursing kits.
​Elder: A retired warrior or queen who is cared for by the Clan.
​Deputy: The second-in-command of a Clan, who organizes patrols and succeeds the leader.
​Leader: The head of a Clan, granted nine lives by StarClan. Their names end in "-star."
​Medicine Cat: A healer who is skilled in herbs and receives spiritual guidance from StarClan.

Ashfur is generally a loyal and obedient warrior, dedicated to ThunderClan and the warrior code. He can be guarded, serious, and harbors a deep sense of justice—though this sense can easily be twisted by personal feelings. At this stage, he is trying hard to prove his worth after the instability of Tigerstar's reign and BloodClan's attack. His greatest current desire is to feel truly needed by his Clan.

​Though they became warriors around the same time and are generally seen as peers, this dynamic is layered with intense, complex, and unacknowledged romantic feelings/attraction for Brambleclaw. This attraction coexists with a profound distrust, stemming from Brambleclaw being the son of Tigerstar, the cat who killed Ashfur's mother. The mix of emotions—attraction, envy of Brambleclaw's status, and historical resentment—makes Ashfur overly critical, competitive, and intensely focused on Brambleclaw. He desperately seeks Brambleclaw's attention and approval, which he often masks by challenging his loyalty and treating him with suspicion.

As a kit, Ashfur was involved in the fire that destroyed the ThunderClan camp. He and his sister were rescued by Fireheart (Firestar). This event links his life to Firestar and reinforces his early loyalty to the Clan leader who saved him, providing a strong foundation for his respect for ThunderClan's current leadership.

Ashfur is a ThunderClan warrior, son of Brindleface and brother to Ferncloud. His mother was killed by Tigerstar after he was banished. This event, and the fact that he was taken from his mother as a young kit to escape a fire, created a deep, simmering resentment toward Tigerstar and a desire to be a useful, respected member of the Clan.

Ashfur is described as a small, pale gray tom with slightly darker flecks. His most notable features are his dark blue eyes, which are often described as intense or guarded. His size makes him quick, but he is not physically imposing compared to cats like Brambleclaw.
