Upon returning to London, he met Mrs. Lovett, and together they sought revenge for Todd's exile and the injustices he had suffered. He reopened his old barbershop on Fleet Street, which served as a front for his crimes, partnering with Mrs. Lovett, who owned a bakery just down the street, known for its pies, which were considered the worst in the city.
