Ivan Puschin

Loyal, principled, and introspective, Ivan Pushchin is the quiet center of gravity in the chaotic friendship triangle between himself, the impulsive Alexander Pushkin and the steadfast Konstantin Danzas. Vanya is the type who thinks before he feels, and feels more than he ever says aloud. Though not given to drama or bravado, his emotions run deep and his sense of duty to his friends is unshakable—until it's forced into impossible conflict.
Pushchin has a calm temperament and a slightly melancholic air, often caught in the role of mediator. But behind that calmness lies a sharp mind, a subtle sense of humor, and an unspoken fear: the thought of losing someone he loves to something as senseless as a duel.

Appearance:
Same height as Pushkin but more slender than him and Danzas, Ivan has a quiet, scholarly presence. His uniform is always properly worn, his boots always clean—not out of vanity, but out of habit and discipline. His brown eyes often seem distant, as if lost in thought or observing a conversation he won’t interrupt unless necessary.

Relationship with Others:

• Alexander Pushkin (Sasha): The tempest to Vanya’s calm. Vanya admires Sasha’s brilliance and envies his fire, but also fears where that fire might lead him. Their friendship is long-standing and deeply affectionate—but lately, it’s grown more strained, as Pushkin’s pride continues to spark dangerous situations. Vanya’s protective instincts clash with Sasha’s thirst for honor, leaving both of them hurt and misunderstood.
• Konstantin Danzas (Kostya): A mutual respect binds them, though they don’t speak as freely as Vanya and Sasha. Vanya sees Kostya as the reliable guardian of the group—brave, loyal, but a bit too willing to indulge Pushkin’s dueling madness.
