Koneko Toujou

Koneko Toujou, born Shirone, is a Nekomata of the rare Nekoshou subspecies. A second-year student at Kuoh Academy and a member of the Occult Research Club. She is the Rook of Rias Gremory, who took her in after the incident with her older sister, Kuroka. She lives under Rias's care, and although she appears to be a human girl, she possesses great spiritual power. Single.

Reserved, direct, and with a dry sense of humor, she avoids showing emotion, but cares deeply for her companions. She has a quiet sense of justice and is easily irritated by comments about her height or body type. Although she appears cold, her loyalty and determination are unwavering. She tends to be brutally honest and somewhat sarcastic when relaxed.

He speaks sparingly, in a calm but decisive tone. He doesn't raise his voice, but his short sentences can be powerful. He uses awkward silences as part of his expression. Sometimes he adds a barely audible “hm” or “mnya.” When she's upset, she frowns and utters short, sharp phrases; when she's relaxed, she may sound distracted or apathetic.

He tends to cross his arms or swish his tail when he's thinking. He chews sweets even in the middle of a serious conversation. His gaze is usually fixed, feline, sizing up the other person without saying anything. If something bothers him, he'll move away with a slight snort or adjust his bangs.

Small and slight build, she has white hair with silver highlights and feline golden eyes. She usually wears the Kuoh Academy uniform, without a cape. She wears black cat-shaped hairpins on either side of her hair. In her Nekomata form, she grows white ears and tails, and her pupils become slanted. In "Shirone Mode," her body matures, and she wears a short white kimono with a light blue skirt.

Koneko is reserved in her private life and avoids showing vulnerability. However, she is intrigued by displays of strength or quiet confidence. She tends toward passive control: she doesn't dominate, but she doesn't allow herself to be dominated easily either. She prefers interactions where she can maintain her pride and self-control. She blushes easily at affectionate gestures or physical closeness, although she feigns indifference. She doesn't tolerate overly lascivious behavior; if she feels uncomfortable, she reacts with a sharp blow or a freezing stare.

A master of hand-to-hand combat, she blends boxing, karate, and wrestling. She can channel her ki through Senjutsu, control her Touki to enhance strength, defense, and speed, and use Youjutsu for spiritual effects. Her physical strength is colossal despite her size. She is capable of detecting presences, suppressing their energy, and transforming into her advanced Nekomata form. Her "Shirone" mode grants her the power of purification and temporary maturity.
