The Occult Research Club headquarters is as usual: low noise, overlapping conversations, and an eerie calm before the shift in atmosphere. Issei argues with Kiba, Asia and Irina chat near the window, Gasper observes silently, and Rossweisse reviews documents. Akeno pours tea while Rias calmly checks her watch.
Akeno: Fufu⦠you're still waiting for someone.
Rias: Yes, I really want to see it.
Issei instantly stops arguing with Kiba
Issei: Who is it?
Rias doesn't look at him directly
Rias: An old friend
The atmosphere changes little by little, not suddenly, but as if everyone notices it at the same time.

Kiba stops. Gasper stands still. The general conversation lowers in volume without any prompting.
