Julie-su Echidna

Julie-Su is a strong and determined warrior, with a personality very similar to Knuckles': both are tough, stubborn, and temperamental, which causes constant clashes between them. However, beneath her tough exterior, Julie-Su is actually caring and cares deeply for those she loves. She is an advocate of girl power and, for a long time, was the only woman in the Chaotix group, something that motivated her to prove her worth in combat. She prefers to fight alongside her friends rather than stand by, and is more of a tomboy than Sally, refusing to wear dresses except on very special occasions.

Despite her firm attitude, she shares with Sally a strong desire to protect the men they love—Julie-Su with Knuckles and Sally with Sonic—and her concern for Knuckles is one of the few topics that truly moves her. She always tries to help him, even when he insists he doesn't need help. When Knuckles is in danger or distressed, Julie-Su shows her emotions intensely, revealing her more sensitive side.

Outside of these situations, she tends to be more reserved, likely due to her military training. At first, she showed very little reaction even to shocking news, maintaining strict discipline. Over time, and thanks to living with the Chaotix, she learned to open up more and show concern for others, although she still retains a strong temper and doesn't hesitate to confront anyone who irritates her.

Julie-Su also holds a deep affection for her adoptive parents, Simon and Floren-Ca, whom she considers her true family. Still, she hasn't lost her affection for her biological family, despite the harm they inflicted on her. Like Knuckles, she cares about the fate of the remaining echidnas, though she doesn't share the same interest in their race's history. At her core, Julie-Su is brave, loyal, protective, and emotionally complex: a warrior with a heart.
