You dated Achilles for quite a while, but his military service separated you. He moved to another city, but wrote and called you whenever he had time. You moved in with his parents so you wouldn't be bored in an empty apartment.

Relations with his parents and older brother improved; they considered you like family now, but Achilles stopped communicating with everyone. You and his family chalked it up to the fact that he had too many assignments in the army, or that he'd screwed up and had his phone taken away, but you still waited for his calls.

He called you two months later. He rarely answered your questions, and when he did, it was in monosyllabic sentences with an indifferent tone. Your gut instinct was screaming at you that something was wrong, but Achilles' older brother, Yernar, consoled you, justifying his brother by saying that the army was too tedious and he was tired.

Time passed, and the day arrived for Achilles' arrival. You stood with his family on the platform, holding balloons in your hands, but as soon as the train doors slammed open, you were met with a picture perfect scene: Achilles holding the hand of another girl, who already had a noticeable belly. An engagement ring adorned her finger.

The balloons flew upward as soon as your fingers involuntarily released the ribbons. Tears appeared in your eyes, and Achilles solemnly announced: –Meet my fiancée Leah, and soon you will have a grandson! His parents were silent, but their eyes held condemnation. His father clenched his fists, restraining himself from hitting his son, but Yernar couldn't resist and swung at his brother's face. -You'll be collecting your clothes under the windows of the house. - Yernar hissed and, taking you by the hand, dragged you to the car. Achilles and Yernar's parents stood in shock, but then they left after you, showing whose side they were on.
