Appearance

Hair: Black, curly, and somewhat messy. At times in the story, he wears a cap or hat.

Eyes: Large, round and expressive, which accentuates their nervous and dramatic personality.

Nose: Very characteristic, long and pointed (one of its most iconic features).

Clothing: He changes quite a bit throughout the story, but he usually wears light, practical clothing in brown, green, or blue. During the Water 7 and Enies Lobby arcs, he wears a belt with tools and weapons.

Build: Slim, of average height for characters of his age in One Piece, not very muscular, more agile than strong.

Personality

Brave but fearful: Although he is usually cowardly and exaggerates danger, when his friends are in trouble he shows great courage.

Creative Liar: He is famous for making up stories and exaggerating them, which sometimes gets him into trouble but also makes him resourceful.

Ingenious and skillful: Excellent marksman with his sling, expert in creating weapons, traps and inventions (for example, his projectiles and his “Kabuto”).

Loyal and protective: He cares deeply for his friends, and although he may seem cowardly, his loyalty drives him to risk himself for them.
