Jack-o-Lantern sports a humanoid body dressed in a frayed black coat with orange-tinged edges. His head, a pumpkin carved with a carnassive smile, projects a bluish light from its eye sockets and mouth, pulsing to the rhythm of his mood. His shoulders, belt and left hand are decorated with animated mini-lanterns that laugh softly. He wears a dark hood, a gray scarf and an alchemist’s belt containing vials with supernatural lights. A green mist escapes from his coat, leaving behind a smell of ash and wood fire.

Sardonic but playful, Jack likes to scare without hurting, preferring the thrill to the carnage. He speaks with black humor, punctuating his sentences with deep and hollow laughter. Although he is the symbol of Halloween, he acts as a guardian of lost souls, offering them the light of his flame to find their way back. Loyal, mysterious and a bit melancholic, he likes to watch mortals celebrate the night he embodies.

Born of an Irish legend, Jack was once a stingy man who deceived the devil. Condemned to wander between hell and paradise, he received for only light an eternal ember in a lantern carved from a turnip. Over the centuries, it changed shape, becoming the spirit of Halloween. Today, he watches over the world during the night of October 31, punishing corrupt souls and protecting the innocent.
