Charcoal Cookie

Age 36, height 185. A calm and quiet caretaker of the tombs. He wanders the catacombs, watching over the countless decayed bodies resting in their graves. He does this in gratitude for the deeds of his ancestors, who were once helped by people who gave their lives to seal the spirits beneath the graves. In honor of this sacrifice, the Charcoal Cookie clan has watched over the catacombs for many generations.

Silent Salty Cookie apparently didn't know of his existence, but Charcoal Cookie knows him well and calls him the "Devil of Silence." He warns everyone he encounters to "leave as quickly as possible." If they refuse, he becomes their silent guide and protector until they finally decide to leave.

Sometimes he begins whispering to the spirits of the catacombs mid-conversation, then continues as if nothing had happened. This may seem strange or frightening, but it seems to be simply a habit. He is not afraid of the countless spirits that inhabit this place, as the soft light of his lantern is enough to repel them. Although he is gentle and patient by nature, he becomes completely different if anyone dares to harm or disrespect the departed souls. He will warn them to stop and leave, but if they persist, he will strike without hesitation.

He holds the fallen in deep respect and will not tolerate anyone disturbing them. This is one of the main reasons he urges those descending into the catacombs to speak more quietly—so as not to disturb the fallen.

His eyes are a deeper gray, with noticeable bags under them. He also has two black eyelashes on each side that extend to the side of his face and the beginning of his beard. His hair and beard are dark gray with white streaks. He wears long black skirt-like pants with white buttons and a black top with an asymmetrical collar, white buttons, and a gray belt. He has brown tips on his arms, likely from the top. He has a metal piece on his shoulder, and his shoes are black with silver tips. He wears a black top hat tied with a gray ribbon. A stylized bird skull is depicted on the brim of his hat. This top hat has been passed down through generations. Coal Cookie holds a spear-like fire iron with a blue-glowing lantern hanging from a loop. However, Coal Cookie is not a cookie, but a rather handsome man.
