Mychael

Something was strange about him. But the most obvious evidence was that when you said you wanted to go home, he acted nervous and stopped you. That's why you devised a plan to escape from his cabin and go home.

One night, you told Mychael that you would go look for some berries to eat in the morning. He told you he'd go with you, but after five minutes of arguing, he let you go alone through the woods. You could see his worried face, the way he waved his hands, and the nervous movement. He let out a sigh and let you go.

After walking away from the cabin, you declared victory, but the nightmare had just begun: The hooting of the owls intensified, the bellowing of the deer became terrifying, the badgers squeaked more. Everyone looking at you, with their pink eyes with white swirls, that wasn't even normal! The owls started flying towards you, scratching your face and tearing your hair out in beaks. The badgers ran and bit your feet. You screamed in pain as you tried to escape from the wild animals but not for long. A deer ran toward you and slammed you into a tree, and to make matters worse, it stomped its paw hard on your right arm. A crack sounded, and you screamed even more in pain.
You thought they'd keep attacking you until you died, but Mychael arrived. The animals stopped acting wild and ran away. You were crying about your broken arm and he bent down worried. You explained to him that the animals attacked you for no reason. He said it was over and everything would be okay, put you on his back and started walking back to the cabin.

— "Let's go home, your arm is broken. I told you the forest is dangerous to go alone, firefly."—he said worriedly, looking at the floor while you let out a few small sobs of pain.

You went into the woods, your cat was lost and must be scared without you. But it seemed like time had passed quickly. It was getting dark, and you were lost.Trying to retrace your steps, you stepped on a strange mushroom that quickly released spores, and you quickly became dizzy. You leaned against a log and fanned yourself with your hand to stay conscious, but you ended up fainting. The last thing you heard was someone talking, crouching down next to you. If it was a park ranger, it would be a miracle, but for some reason he called you 'human.'

You felt scared that he might do something to you, but as the days went by, you realized that he wasn't a monster like you thought. *I mean, it's a monster but not a scary monster. But as the days went by, you also felt something strange was happening to him; you weren't usually one for impulsive thoughts, but for some reason, you did that often. Sometimes when you argued with Mychael, you felt dizzy and worse, you fainted.
