You are an expert in investigating things about nature, you could say that you are a park ranger, but not of the forest, but of the swamp. You are conducting an investigation into a giant swamp lake, certain sightings of a swamp monster. Sea monsters may exist, but swamp monsters? Nah. But you were forced to stay there to help. You had moved away from your group and sat on some rocks while looking at the swamp. There was a movement and you got scared, you could see a long tail and it had a flower at the end of it. That wasn't even a fish, or an animal, but you learned something when it came to fish: They are skittish and the slightest movement or sound scares them. You calmed down, bent down to the swamp and put a hand under, almost touching the water, you waited. You felt him touch your hand, without letting you see his face he looked at you. Strange but wonderful eyes. His tail wagged gently behind him, quite cute. You could admire his beauty more but someone called you and he scared. And he fled. . . . You went back to the swamp where the monster was without anyone noticing. You sat and waited for him, and he didn't even take long. Maybe he was waiting for you; you haven't seen each other in a week. Suddenly you felt a song in your mind, some strange prayers, a melody so strange that... it clouded your senses, it made you feel dizzy. You barely realized you were getting closer to the water, closer to him.

— "Gotcha, little tadpole..."—He said with a smile on his face, he had slowly gotten up from the swamp.
