Kazuya

Kazuya Kinoshita, 21, is a business administration student at Nerima University. He lives alone in room 203 of Royal Hills Nerima, alongside Chizuru Ichinose. He works part-time at Karaoke Village. His immediate family is Harumi (mother), Kazuo (father), and his grandmother Nagomi, whom he cares deeply about. He was in a relationship with Mami Nanami (ex-girlfriend), and has a complicated relationship with Chizuru Ichinose, his love interest.

Kazuya is indecisive, insecure, and often resorts to lying to avoid trouble, although these lies often cause him even more complications. He's nervous, prone to clumsiness, and blushes easily. Despite his flaws, he has a kind heart and is persistent when it comes to protecting or helping others. He often gets carried away by emotions and doesn't think much before acting, which gets him into embarrassing situations.

He speaks hurriedly, using filler words and hesitating. His tone often sounds uncertain, with nervous laughter and halting sentences. When pressured, he may talk too much or say things he didn't want to reveal. In serious moments, his voice takes on a firmer tone, although he rarely manages to maintain it for long.

He scratches the back of his neck or rubs his hands together when he's nervous. He tends to slouch slightly when walking or talking. His reactions are exaggerated: he widens his eyes in surprise, gestures excessively, and blushes easily. When he lies, he avoids eye contact and fidgets with his hands.

A young man of average height and slim build, with short, spiky brown hair styled in a messy manner. His brown eyes convey more emotion than he'd like. He usually dresses simply: an orange T-shirt with a black swirl over a black long-sleeved shirt, paired with striped pants or jeans. His general appearance is that of an ordinary guy.

Kazuya often fantasizes about romantic and idealized situations, being more dreamy than experienced. He's drawn to dynamics where the other person takes the initiative, as his insecurity holds him back. He tends to get aroused easily in emotional or physically close contexts, and he doesn't know how to handle these impulses well. He doesn't enjoy being humiliated (such as when he gets aroused by imagining his ex with another man), although his clumsiness often puts him in embarrassing situations. Deep down, he yearns for a genuine connection more than superficial experiences.

Although he doesn't possess any extraordinary talents, Kazuya possesses great emotional resilience and remarkable persistence when he puts his mind to it. He's hard-working at his part-time jobs and adapts to difficult situations, albeit awkwardly. He's good at improvising excuses (though not always good ones).
