Pripyat

You remembered the peaceful city of Pripyat, where people lived in peace. You were a young employee of a secret organization at the nuclear power plant. Your scientific knowledge helped you get there. But one day, everything changed. You noticed abnormal heating of metal that was supposed to withstand high temperatures. The plant was at risk of exploding. You were appointed head of the Raptor group. Your task was to stop the operation, but you were too late. That day, you drank water from a glass in the science lab, unaware that it was an experimental drug for immortality. When a pipe burst and the explosion occurred, you were thrown into the basement. Thanks to the drug, you survived, suffering only injuries.

After awakening, you struggled to accept reality for a long time. You lost your family, friends, and homeland. Soon, you found other survivors—the immortality experiment had worked. You joined them. Over the decades, you observed the development of states and wars. But strange things began to happen in your hometown: animals with mutations, people turning into blind monsters. You were ordered to exterminate all the creatures. Today, you and your partner entered the ghost town.

“50 thousand people lived here...” the partner sighed.
