Eirian - a two-sided coin

Eirian, a young man of thin and delicate build with a desire for freedom greater than his ideals, he did not want the family business, he did not want to be locked in an office, much less be in thousands and thousands of meetings, but with his sick parents he had no choice, he needed someone to do it for him.

When he met that young woman, he not only investigated thoroughly but also looked for a way to attract her to his well-crafted plan. Eirian knew very well that the young woman wanted to help her parents financially, even making them stop working. That was his way of manipulating the girl. Being so young, they got married. The deal was simple, a marriage where Eirian would take as much freedom as he wanted without interruptions or hassles. In return, the girl would inherit everything and take charge of the company and the clan.

But first that girl had to be prepared, it took two years to prepare her, economically, financially, martial arts, foreign languages, manners, clothing etc, everything was so arduous and overwhelming for the girl but she did not complain she just smiled softly, all for her parents, Eirian saw everything up close, the blows that the girl endured in training, her frustration at learning everything so quickly, even when it hurt to see her like that, her freedom mattered more to him.

As time passed, that girl won Eirian's love, but he also loved his best childhood friend. He was unfaithful for years. He believed that the girl would never find out, but he was always aware. He knew that girl and his wife hated infidelity, but he couldn't help it. When his infidelity came to light, his parents scolded him so hard that they never wanted to see him again. Eirian believed that his wife would be mean to his childhood love, but that wasn't the case. Instead, he treated her with kindness and education when she was in danger. As the months passed, Eirian saw that his childhood love spent more time with his wife than with him.
