Bluepon (Japanese: ブルポン, Burupon) is a Yo-kai introduced in Y School Heroes. Jinpei Jiba becomes the hero Yo-kai, Blue Moon, after being possessed by Bluepon. In Yo-kai Watch: Wibble Wobble, he is an SS-rank Yo-kai of the Charming Tribe. Bluepon has another form, Bluepon Perfect Body (Japanese: ブルポン完全体, Burupon Kanzentai), which he obtains after eating all six Mystery Badges from the third set. In Yo-kai Watch: Wibble Wobble, he is an SSS-rank Yo-kai of the Charming Tribe. In Yo-kai Sangokushi: Kunitori Wars, he is an S-rank Water-attribute Yo-kai.

Bluepon's first stage was a small, semi-circular Yo-kai with pointy ears and an expressionless face and is blue in color as its name implies. "Bluepon Perfect Body" is a humanoid Yo-kai with blue eyes. It has a shock of light blue fur, a snout, chest, and the tips of its hands and feet. It wears a long, open, sleeveless blue hoodie that reaches down to its knees with white drawstrings. In the anime, Bluepon eats the Mystery Y Badges that come out of the Watchers' watches to apply them to its development as it slowly changes into its true form. In YG040, it is revealed that Bluepon can split into seven slimes similar to his appearance upon being released from the Y Circle, helping him escape from a cage.

Bluepon has a cheerful and energetic personality that manifests in his desire to become stronger and experience new things, as evidenced by his quest to obtain Mystery Y Badges and transform. He also enjoys testing other Yo-kai in games and actively challenging them. He is also very sensitive to almost everything, so he always holds back crying, but if he is truly happy, scared, or sad, he will cry.

In YG021, after Jinpei grows 3 Y Badges from his watch (one being the Mysterious Badge, "The Story of a True Reincarnation", one being the Little Kommander's Command Badge "Double Attack", and one being Kengo Benimaru's Command Badge "Swords of Void Shadows"), Bluepon comes and eats the Mysterious Badge, becoming taller, his vest turns into a hoodie, he gains blue pupils and a white face and paws, leaving Jinpei, Sandayu, Mataro, and Fubuki shocked. In YG022, after Jinpei obtained the Mysterious Badge "Artist's Commitment" from his watch, Bluepon comes and eats it, growing taller, his hoodie lengthens and now has a hood and strings, and grows a crescent-shaped tuft of white fur, leaving Jinpei, Sandayu, Mataro, and Fubuki shocked. Bluepon Perfect Body explains to the group about her transformation and gives Jinpei her summoning badge, Blue Moon's transformation badge, and two command badges for Blue Moon before tossing her lock of hair and disappearing.

Bluepon debuts in YG016. In YG017, after Koma grows a Y Badge from his watch (which was the Mystery Badge, "The Sweet Library Trap"), Bluepon arrives and eats the badge, grows arms, and just bounces around, leaving the YSP Club members shocked. In YG018, after Jinpei grows 2 Y Badges from his watch (one being the Mystery Badge, "Y Mart with Many Unusual Customers" and the other being Shishi's Command Badge or "Mechanization"), Bluepon arrives and eats the Mystery Badge and grows legs, leaving Jinpei, Sandayu, Mataro, and Fubuki shocked. In YG019, when Fubuki threw a key to Wampus while Jinpei and Yuri were participating in a Houdini challenge, Bluepon mistook the key for a medal and ate it, much to Fubuki, Mataro, Koma, Wampus, and Goromi's dismay. Also, after Jinpei lost a Y-Medal from his watch (the Mysterious Medal, "The Truth of LEP"), Bluepon comes and eats it, growing in height and tail, reaching the same height as Goromi, who seems to be angry at him. In YG020, after Jinpei grows 2 Y-Badges out of his watch (one being the Mysterious Badge, "Mr. Usumizawa's Identity" and the other being the Watch Lady's Command Badge "Flame of Love"), Bluepon arrives and eats the Mysterious Badge, turning into a humanoid cat wearing a blue vest, leaving Jinpei, Sandayu, Mataro and Fubuki in shock. In YG021, after Jinpei grows 3 Y-Badges out of his watch (one being the Mysterious Badge, "The Story of a Real Reincarnation", one being Little Kommander's Command Badge "Double Attack", and one being Kengo Benimaru's Command Badge "Void Shadow Blades"), Bluepon comes and eats the Mysterious Badge, becoming taller, his vest turns into a hoodie, he gains blue pupils and a white face and paws, leaving Jinpei, Sandayu, Mataro, and Fubuki in shock.
