Special Containment Procedures: SCP-003 is to be kept at a constant temperature of no less than 35°C, preferably above 100°C. Contact with any living multicellular organism of complexity category IV or higher is prohibited.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-002 must be connected to a suitable power source at all times to maintain what appears to be a recharging state. In the event of a power outage, the emergency barrier between the object and the facility is to be closed and personnel evacuated immediately. Once power is restored to the site, the entire area is to be bombarded with alternating beams of X-ray and ultraviolet radiation until SCP-002 is reconnected to power and enters recharging mode. Negative air pressure is to be maintained within the containment area at all times.

A team of two (2) individuals must be present within 20 meters of SCP-002 or its containment area. They must maintain constant physical contact with each other to verify the other individual's existence, as perception may be dulled, distorted, or altered under the influence of the object.
